Whitefang you out do yourself with each one of these reviews. I will be ordering a box myself and I can't wait to get my hands on them.

Thanks for this, and the comparisons with previous ones. Glad to see 5 minotaurs in a box! Were the bags taken & figures listed from the box in order & if so L-R F-B or otherwise? I'm not so good at feeling the bags for identification.

I did not note the distribution and arrangement of the minifigures. But I do notice on the 3rd row somewhere, there is 2 Celtic Warriors smacked right one after another. Not sure if it will helps, but it was very chaotic when I am doing this review. Thus, I didn't note the arrangements.

Oh, another beautiful review of another series of beautiful minifigs, WhiteFang! :cry_happy::thumbup:

All of them are very useful, and is it me or they're getting better and better with every next wave?

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

Thanks for the lovely review, WhiteFang!

A quick question: if you orient the genie's lamp with the genie's 'tail', it looks like he is coming out of the lamp, right? Could you give us a pic?

Overall, I think Series 6 looks great; even the 'repeated' skater is worth getting multiples of. Can't wait to get my hands on these!

Thanks for the review, I've been waiting for this! One question: Is there a stud in the inside of the leprechaun's pot or is it plain? It should be plain because otherwise the bottom golden round brick could "stuck" in the pot.

I will see what I can do about it if I am able to provide a new image for this.

Nope, there is no stud at the bottom of the pot.

And once again the hunting starts!

Thanks ever so much for another great review. It's lovely to see the minifigs improve every time another series is launched! Can't wait to start collecting.

I'm impressed with this series. The repeats feel fresh and inventive. Some of the minifigures from past series felt incomplete. For example, the soccer player didn't have a soccer ball. It is good to see that series 6 addresses these concerns.

Hopefully the new distribution will help alleviate the problems between army builders, collectors, and everyone else.

Thank you once again for the wonderful and detailed review, WhiteFang!

The only thing making me wonder is that you forgot the Euro price on the list... What was the name of this site again? default_tong.gif

I'll add just a few words that come to my mind regarding this series:

- it's definitely the best series so far! I'm not buying those figs if I don't like them, but in this case I want around 40 figs all in all!

- is it forecasting more great issues? NO. Looking at the first picture of series 7 I can only state that "7" is going to be a letdown. For me of course. But I don't feel sorry at all. I understand it's hard to keep the level of series 6 and it's going to save me money.

- 8 points out of 10 for the price? I said so last time and I'm going to repeat it: Poorer plastic than regular minifigs and 2,50€ per figure - very close to rip-off. default_angry.gif 5/10 would have been my figures.

- this is the first time I feel the urge to be able to buy the accessories by themselves. They are so great this time! But then again 2,50€ for a teddy or the steak? Nooo way!

- my favourites:

Cat. A: The surgeon!! (go figure) and the roman soldier default_wubnew.gif

Cat. B: The butcher and the sleepyhead

Cat. C: The Statue of Liberty

Awesome review WhiteFang :sweet:.

I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this series, I feel it's one of the best so far. Some of my favorite things about this series:

- The hair on the sleepyhead

- The sleeping face

- Not only do we get a surgeon, but it appears to be a female :sweet:

- Roman legionnaire!

- Proper classic alien

- So many cool new accessories: T-bone steak, cleaver, teddy bear, pot, x-ray tile, +++++

- Even if it's the third skateboarder, it's finally a female one! (And her clothing is awesome, except for the striped arms, which I don't like, but that can easily be fixed )

Yes, I admit it, I'm addicted to the collectible minifigs :wub_drool:.

Dam, I think you beat me too it 'Cecille'.....it's a female surgeon.....see Lego didn't need to create Friend's just more female minifig's !

Anyway, it appears 5 out of the 16 are and seem to be always female....good, I need the hair pieces and heads. :classic:

I'm pretty psyched about this series. There's actually quite a few I'd like more than one of, which is really odd for me. I like, too, that it looks like it's gonna be pretty easy to pick figures based on feel. Everything's really unique.

And I'm happy the Alien is an actual Alien, and not a "guy dressed as Alien" or whatever, because it means the "monster" is back in the set, having been missing in the last wave.

I doubt these are anywhere near Canada yet, but I think I'm gonna go hunting for them today anyways because I'm foolish.

Great to see these up close. Thanks for the review. I am most excited to get quite a few grey aliens. I will want to swap out all the aliens from Alien Conquest with these. :classic:

thx for the review, a somewhat revolutionary series featuring some amazing figs and new moulds, its too bad similar themes from previous series were repeated like the skate boarder and space woman, though they are female figs which which maybe a move from TLG to attract more customers from the feminine side of the market

Your review... is just awesome ! Thank's for sharing this, but now I just can't wait for this Serie to be released in FRANCE !

Surgeon and Alien are my favorite, but expected the skater girl I don't see bad minifigure in the serie. A great one for sure.

Great review of an excellent series. Picked up a few in the city this morning whilst doing some xmas shopping: celt, mechanic, liberty, surgeon and a roman. Excellent haul given they were randomly picked by the assistant from a box behind the counter. :classic:

Glad to see the Minifigs series 6 reviewed by you Whitefang! As always, it's a pleasure to read you and to see those pics that you share with us.

Your review makes me impatient to have my own 6th serie of those lovely minifigs (already bought!).

I will wait to have them in my hands to make a jugement aout which is my favourite, but I really like the genius, the paramedic and the roman soldier. And of course the tired man with its bear.

And just for the hisorical apect, the major part of the steel used to build the statue of liberty, and Eiffel tower, comes from the area where I live.

One of my aunte even has an entrance of one of those old mine.

Great review! This is one of, if not the, best CMF series yet!

I have a question, though, about the Celtic longsword. Is is bendable or rubbery in any way, like the pearl bley swords from Castle and Kingdoms, or is it solid plastic?

Opps, added that in, under the set information even though I am not sure what the price will be.

I'll add just a few words that come to my mind regarding this series:

- it's definitely the best series so far! I'm not buying those figs if I don't like them, but in this case I want around 40 figs all in all!

Wow, this series MUST have really impressed you. You hardly wants all of them and I am glad you are looking forward to Series 6.

Well, it will be the equivalent on our end too, with Euro 2.50 each... These minifigures are getting dearer and it's making me harder to collect more of them due to it's higher price-tag. Perhaps, the love of these minifigures had indeed clouded my mind.

Yes, I admit it, I'm addicted to the collectible minifigs :wub_drool:.

I am already looking forward to your traditional vigs.

Anyway, it appears 5 out of the 16 are and seem to be always female....good, I need the hair pieces and heads. :classic:

Yes yes! You raised a very good point. In fact, it slipped out of my mind. In fact, this is THE ONLY series that had so many female presumed minifigures including the Lady Liberty and Surgeon.

And just for the hisorical apect, the major part of the steel used to build the statue of liberty, and Eiffel tower, comes from the area where I live.

One of my aunte even has an entrance of one of those old mine.

Didn't expect that part of the construction was done in your area too.

I have a question, though, about the Celtic longsword. Is is bendable or rubbery in any way, like the pearl bley swords from Castle and Kingdoms, or is it solid plastic?

Bendable feel with solid ABS plastic.

great review! the white bricks w/numbers aren't included though right?

You wish so!
