Maybe it's the case that there's a unique mold (part type) that has only been in that color. Then go and look up that mold by number in the LUGBULK list (if there is such a list) and maybe you'll deduce the color.

I've never been a part of LUGBULK, so I don't know the ins and outs. I asked my local LUG about joining to participate in LUGBULK and they wouldn't allow it. I guess it's meant to be for the purposes to putting together large displays for the public. Was worth asking. I wish I had the spare time to join a LUG. Maybe when I'm retired.

It's a pretty new color and the list we got from last year didn't have the LEGO color ID, just the piece IDs. But I called LEGO customer service and what I was looking for is what LEGO calls Dark Nougat. But according to different sources, it's been matched up to both Dark Flesh and Medium Dark Flesh on Bricklink. So I guess there's some discrepancies, but as long as I have the correct LEGO color ID, that's all that matters.

My husband and I actively participate in our LUG's displays and our club has a similar rule that only those who can be part of LUGBulk are those who participate in the groups' displays. It encourages participation in club activities and discourages abuses like those who would want parts just to resell, which is prohibited. But even those who only put a vehicle or two into our displays gets to participate in LUGBulk, if they want. The contribution doesn't have to be large.

It does take time to participate in a group, but each group is different. We're a bit more relaxed and don't require a lot of time from our members. But then, we also don't do many activities each year so it's a trade-off. Hopefully you'll be able to participate sometime soon. It's definitely been a lot of fun since we joined ours a few years ago.

TLG's equivalent to Medium Dark Flesh is 312 Medium Nougat. Peeron's chart is inaccurate regarding this and a number of other brown/orange/flesh colors.

Bricklink doesn't have any true equivalent to Peeron's DkNougat, but it seems to be the same as TLG's 128 Dark Nougat. The Dark Nougat parts I know of are on Bricklink mislabeled either as Dark Orange or Earth Orange. Examples of parts in Dark Nougat include Vernon Dursley's hair in the 2002 set "4728 Escape from Privet Drive" and the flute in the 2001 set "4706 Forbidden Corridor".

Just to help people with brown colors that Peeron mislabels in its color chart:

BL's Brown / Peeron's OldBrown = TLG's 25 Earth Orange
BL's Dark Flesh / Peeron's DkFlesh = TLG's 217 Brown
BL's Medium Dark Flesh / Peeron's MdDkFlesh = TLG's 312 Medium Nougat
BL's Earth Orange/Peeron's EarthOrange = TLG's 12 Light Orange Brown

If you want to look up color equivalents, I'd recommend the resources on Isodomos.com, which are less complete but more accurate than Peeron's list at the time being.

Thanks for the info and the link. I'm really surprised no one's made a more accurate listing, but it seems to be because stuff is mislabeled on Bricklink so it'd be hard to be accurate when the sources aren't accurate, well, except for LEGO. They know the true color. lol!

Question related to LUGBulk... I know licensed pieces are prohibited from being included on the list, but what about Collectible Minifigure pieces?

Yes, those are typically not available in LUGBULK as well, unless the part becomes available in a non-CMF set.

I feel that The Lego Group really needs to start respecting what some of these LUGs are doing for their company and how they personally are contributing to their sales, and Lego really needs to recognize the LUGs and Designers who are helping them and stop being so particular about what qualifications are needed take advantage of certain privileges...

I was told at Lego Kidsfest in Pittsburgh 2 weeks ago that Lego was going to stop inviting LUGs to display at the Kidsfest events, which in my opinion is a bad move on Lego's part...
