I'd like to ask the other officers if they knew if Officer Hutch used guns for any hobbies. (shooting, hunting, etc.)

"It broke. The Chief ordered a new one online."
Do you remember, this was a week ago. It would seem that the Chief lied about the microwave being broken -- was it to cover Hutch's theft? Maybe it's nothing important, but let's see where it leads.

I would like to recall who found out that the microwave was broken, and who took it away from the police station -- if I witnessed the events of course.

Well it's obviously not broken anymore, so either Hutch had it repaired, or something strange is afoot.

I would like to check if the "chips" previously found in the microwave are American chips (British crisps) or British chips (American French fries).

We should keep an eye out for other stolen police property.  It's interesting that the Chief would have lied and said it was broken.  Maybe he gave it to Hutch to keep him quiet about something.

I'd like to ask the other officers present if they remember anything else being "broken" and then replaced lately.

"Wha? Hmmm... let me refresh my memory, is this the same one that used to be in the Police station?

It's not identifiable. And, yes, this is the microwave from the police station.

I just want to know if it's the normal gun cops would use or a personal weapon.

Ah, so he stole the microwave. That's....not helpful. Unless he killed the Chief over it.  :sceptic: Well, it says he's used 500 bullets. Do the police shoot their weapons a lot?

Not really...

I'd doubt so, since there are no major crimes commited in Suburbia... :look:

I don't think stealing a microwave which was going to be replaced anyway is a serious crime.

I'd like to check what the knife's purpose is, i.e., is it meant for fighting or for domestic application?

Likely domestic use, it looks like a carving knife.

"Not that I know of." Scott says.

Chief McGovern found it was broken. The chips are "American" chips, tortilla type.

They are numbers for the police station, fire station, hospital, and poison control center.

I would like to check the refrigerator for a property tag.

It would seem that we're pretty much done here, aren't we?

Then we may have to postpone our visit of Starbase Marcus until tomorrow. I guess in the meantime I'll be sleeping in a prison cell tonight.

"Well, Chief, Ash and I do own a couch, and you're welcome to spend a couple of nights on that. That is, if either you or Ash don't have a problem with that."

I'm Agnostic and ambivalent about it.

I wouldn't do that Chief, they'll keep you up all night.  :hmpf: You can sleep on my couch if you like.
