I've been away a few days and I thought I would just say to rogueang and De Sandman, fantastic work on the builds. Also, captain donkey, I have not head of any such tell of al rebellion or of a lost guild, and as an elf I have been alive here in Historica for a lot longer than you (since elves are immortal). Tell me what you know of and I am sure the guild can look into this.

I'm opening an assassin guild. I only need two more members. I'm working on a very special moc for it. It is not a public guild.(meaning I have to have the parts to make your sigfig) I have sent invite to one of the two open spots with no reply yet.

My entry for the Siege expert title. This is an Avalonian Battering Ram !

batteringram2small.jpg

Finished it a week ago, but finally got around making a photo of it. It was really a challenge for me although it is a simple build, but I normally don't build vehicle stuff, and I am quite proud of how it turned out.

Great idea Doornroosje! I like the overall look of it! :classic:

Small small critique though, when looking on the Battering ram in the front angle the roof seems a little to big.

Great job on the siege machine!!

Edit: Oh! I forgot this.. Put your Battering ram in an own thread so our great Leader can link it to Avalonias frontpage! :classic:

My enemies (ahah and archenemies :) from Avalonia ;) I've finally finished my Drow city, so take a look here. I do believe this is the first completely build city in Historica (or now I think it is maybe second, first being Dunovaria by Derfel C?) ;) Anycase it Embassy friendly (heh) ;)

Finally I'm claiming land!

Took me some time to figure out what I want to achieve with my planned city. I finally came to a conclusion and hereby claim the following island:

moria.jpg

The greater island is called "Moria" with "Moria" also being the name of the small city located there. It is surrounded by the Pastures of Moria that feature - just like the name says - olive plantations and other farms. It also has a mine - but more on that later on.

Moria will feature a hideout of the new thieves guild, not an unknown one but a worthy residence. Furthermore you will find a small harbour with fishers, a naval siege weapon manufactory, a wizards shop / residence (for Archmage Septua), the official manor of Sir Moriartus, a market place, a tavern, stables, a guildhall and finally something like a church and a graveyard.

For all Non-Avalonians: There is plenty of room for your embassies if you choose to honor Moria and it's residents. For a building style take a look at my watchtower or the alchemist building i did for Albion.

The small island will be reserved for something miraculous. More on that later.

Yes - looks like a huge project, you might say. I hope, i can display and build the whole thing as a connected one.

I will open a new topic just as Legonardo with Glevum did when I finished the first building (which definitely won't be until the 2nd week of the new year - new years eve and holidays in Berlin will take some time).

Comments on this are very welcome!

Best regards!

Sir Moriartus / Rolli

Like Capt BeerBeard, (I like how you are expanding on your tower) I too have been busy. I build these over the last week or so but haven't been able to shoot photos of them until today.

I present two Avalonia builds, for Siege Expert and Prince of the Forest

The Brothers, Dorlin and Broslin "Prince of the Forest"

PotF3-M.jpg

a Circardian Light Ballista "Siege Expert"

Light-Ballista1-M.jpg

I also did a free build, A row house in the Hamlet of Circardia.

rowhouse5-M.jpg

I have begun a map of the hamlet and will start a thread with all my MOCs, Circardian history, main characters in the next week or two.

thanks for looking and comments and critics are always welcome!

Thanks for your nice comment and feedback. :classic: I agree with you on the roof, unfortunately I didn't have 1X6 tiles, and had to settle for 1x8 tiles.I needed a little overhang, because the men pushing the battering ram have to be protected from arrows from the enemy. I also think it would have even looked better with sand geen cheese slopes instead of white, but I don't have any in my brick collection (yet  )

Excellent work guildsmen! Ive been seeing some great mocs posted over the last few weeks

I have noticed that many of you are now planning your own mini-maps for your areas of land and linking you mocs to it. This is a great idea and im pleased to see you are flushing out your own stories and legends of your areas. Its great to know that Avalonia will have many interesting areas, each with their own smaller maps and stories. Great work!

The last week has been a busy time for many of us, but im hoping to get back to building when New years is over.

I have updated the first page, if I have missed anything just let me know.

Keep up your great work!

I am doing a MOC, but not for the embassy task. It would be an Avalonian Forest, with a nocturnus tower, like they had invaded my lands. The rest I will leave until you see the complete article. I would do it for embassy challenge, but you have to do your guilds embassy :hmpf_bad:

I've had the wedding decor set for a bit now. Why hasn't anyone reviewed it yet? That would be a great little set to use fore Avalonia.

@Derfel Cadarn:

Is it possible that you put the map to the first side too?

And whoe is the "administrator" of the map, when I want to enter the map with my own settlement? How I get a city into the map?

Is this picture enough to become "Lord High Chief of Agriculture"? Or should I build more?

bild1916.jpg

And is there a title for mining buildings? I mean this is importance too, because without steel and other minerals we can't hammer weappons or sth like this in times of war, when we are dependant from the other guilds to get this.

Or have I here a false perception?

DC has said he will link the map. If it is not there, then he must have gotten caught up in something else.

The "admin" of the map is the master cartographer, Jason Cicchini.

Looking good Hellboy.

This whole guild thing is not to get the most titles but to improve your building skills and have a good time! I´ve posted many mocs that I didn´t get any titles for but instead it was fun and I learned something when building them.

I´m sure our great leader will give you the title of Agriculture!

And the map will be linked when it´s done... there are so many new members that build their towers so Jason waits so he doesn´t have to make a new map every day  And once it´s done DC will link it... That´s what I understood when I read the posts some 20 pages back!
