Nocturnites,

I don't know how much I'll be building in the next 2-3 months either, got to build 3 things for the Sydney Brick Show and work is as busy as it ever gets!!

Think I'm going to sit out the third challenge and make some small free builds instead to help develop the Nocturnus environment.

For Abbysian I think it should have ancient looking stone buildings along with some tudor buildings. It should be walled in and at the gate there should be some huge amphibious monster. I definetly think we should  build it micro scale first like what Mitgardia is doing with their capital

Do WIPs for challenges count as free builds? Also are the shores of nocturnus tropical?

I don't think so

If you can explain this in your fantasy, why not

I destroyed my actual Moc for the challenge, because I had some other ideas for building it better  :sweet:

But I will show you tomorrow my Ghost Ship, to earn points to our Nocturnian account

Tasty minifigs should also bring us some points - not sigfigs and their armies, other monsters and villains that we made ;)

nice rockwork. You should definantly build a bridge yourself. There are so many pretty bridge designs possible.
If you want the hanging bridge, here are two examples:

Posted Image Posted Image

Or use other wooden bridge designs. SoT's bridge is awesome with little gaps between the planks:

Posted Image

good luck with the challenge! I must say that I liked your first idea with the ziggurat-design.

I agree that brick built structures always look better, and I think that your bridge added to your WIP wonderfully!  Keep up the good work!

If it was up to me, you'd have it!  Along with quite a few other people in Historica, actually.

Who makes the badges/tags actually?  It would be nice to get a Historica badge for everyone who's an active Historica member / builder.

This may well come to fruition, just wait and see I guess, though if it does happen they will only be handed out to those who have been constant and valuable members ( we're looking pretty good in here) as far as participation/member ratio goes Nocturnus is a strong guild. Keep up the good work guys, and lets win this third challenge!

oh, do not worry, we are going to. The Drow are going to build (and burn for photo:) the biggest and goodiest city yet ;) If I succeed, I will build a more then 1m long bridge that will hold itself on four studs ;) with hanging tower, it will bi half a meter high ;) but I am building and it is a question if it will hold ;)

Just look at the new moonkeep, there are almost 50 new minifigs, and few of them I count amongst the best I've made; for the first time I build not to play, but just for show; and the whole city is going to sit on a real lego clouds. I do not say it will win, because there are some great builders in all four guilds, but I am sure that we can arrange to assassinate, bribe, scare of wed anyone that is better ;) Drow rule supreme!

And also, there could be some feedback with ideas, what could I build in this city
Heavenly garden? What could it contain? Water, obviously, lot of fountains, a great tree (I'm building that, with spiral stairs around it:); some exotic plants?

What kind of interaction? What could angels do? They will sing (obviously:), make sculptures, garden the plants, what more? (Some will fight with the Drow:)

Other ideas? Could Drow "blight" the clouds over whom they walk? (Yep, this are "walking" clouds, if they can withstand a castle, they can also hold few Drow:) Anything that comes to your mind, I can incorporate, or develop with a team (and I have a sexy little helper that promised to pose near the castle when it is over - with a Drow mask and a sword;)

Also, if someone has a PaB in their vicinity, I would need a cup filled with 1x1 and 1x2 red plates, I could pay via paypal, so contact me trough pm, please

We are small in numbers, but so are diamonds, and they are worth much more then  simple rocks;) let's beat those silly members from opposing guilds!

;)

Fellow guildmembers,

Here is freebuild for our mighty guild. The Black Knights wargalley "Wyvern's Cough". I thought it was about time that the Claw Breakers got some company in the fleet-building business of Nocturnus.
