We need to do some marketing to attract some new bad blood into our guild ;) Almost all of our bad guys are out on vacation, having a family or learning school (you do not need school to rule the world, only strong army:)))

We could use a race of some other evil elves, there are woods in Nocturnus, so the builder who would like to join Avalonia because of the plants and green and trees that he would like to build, could do it here; also, Nocturnus have a lot of seacoast, so guys oriented on pirates could find their five coppers there; On the borders with Khaliphlin there is send, and tan oriented (or PoP) builders can make their own races there... Fire inside the ground, Ice on the mountains, anything could go

we need to attract few older (by internship) members with the "moc expert" badge, and few future ones :) (In the other hands, I do not know, but I think that there were no such cases in EB history that so many builders got their "moc expert" badges in a such a short time period (a year:). And each one more then deserved; if you took all the bricks from all Historica mocs and put them one near another, you could go a long long way ;) many km :) How many mocs? I do not know, but there must be more then hundred :) More then a hundred unique minifigs that were made, and a lot of story pages :)

We need new blood in Nocturnus ;)

You've already used up the last batch I sent!!!

I have a big build on the way, can't start it for a couple of weeks though and I suspect it will take a month or two...

I plan to make it in sections so should be putting out a few free builds over that time (plus the fifth challenge).

I have a couple MOCs in my mind that I'd like to build in the next weeks before University starts again. If everything goes as planned, I also intend to take part in Challenge V.
Depending on how I get the other stuff done, I might get another at the scale of my first one ready in a few days.

I like this new challenge as well, I was just preparing to build some more neon-swamp thingies so this came in perfectly.

Btw. here's my entry for the mini-challenge

Arcanos - the 5th guild

Apart from that, I'm thinking of changing my avatar (my character, that is), would it be ok if I kill-off Gza'ar and add someone new instead?

Well, from the beginning Nocturnus always did have the least number of members, in stark contrast to Avalonia. Among those, I think the majority lost interest somewhere inbetween the 2nd and 3rd challenge, just like it was the case with the three other guilds as well. The only real difference is that our already small number makes it harder to compensate the loss of active builders :sceptic:

So yes, if Lord Ssilyrrlith (who, btw, has officially succeeded in stopping the plans of the Drow usurpation for the time being) agrees then your help would be most appreciated. Although we'll certainly keep an eye on it

My ban was good deserved, I can only hope that in a month, year or decade (Drow are elves, and elves live forever, so we have time :) I will be allowed to return :)

My girl allowed to relay you this one msg trough her account ;) I will be here, passive, watching and enjoying your great creations :)
Btw, I have not forgotten about the contests, I will announce winners and contact you over this profile,  for shipping addresses. Do not worry, at the end, all will be fine :)

Now, my dear guildsmen, while Drow are in exile, make us proud with your builds:)"

So, the Drow are in exile...? We'll just have to hold the fort till they reemerge.

@Legonardo, you are most welcome to aid us, you could make something like a special task force that has been sent to Nocturnus to battle the elementals... or you could have been trapped on this side of the Rakath and have to work together with the Nocturnians in order to survive... At the end, you can always convert  :sweet:  and our chief hypnotist..er..I mean motivational speaker will make sure you remain loyal

Yeah I just don't have much time & space to do any building, plus the challenges were too hard for me - but I've still been keeping an eye on things here, so count me as practically inactive despite still lurking a bit.

I am a silent supporter of Nocturnus as well. Lurking in the shadows of the Rakath Mountains. In April I went from a part-time job to full-time+ job, which also keeps me travelling between two places. It leaves me with more money to buy lego, just no time to build anything with it  . But I still watch the forum almost daily. I absolutely loved Waterdeep and Whirlwind assault! Two stunning entries. To bad Angeli missed that win on such few votes.
And I was thrilled that Abyssian finally has a face! Definantly worthy of being the proud capital of Nocturnus.

An old free build of mine still lies around waiting to be photoshopped. Hopefully I will finish that before winter.

In the meanwhile, please keep on building!

I can't say for sure if I'll be able to enter the 5th challenge (due to alarming lack of parts and a clustered schedule), but in the next few days I should be able to get some small free builds done.

Sorry I haven't been more active, but it does feel like we need something to get the blood flowing again (Metaphorically!.....Down!.....Bad Vampire!)

Perhaps we should conquor one of the 5th guilds to stir things up.

I'm going to try and make sunday a building day.  Hopefully I'll have something to post next week.

It's quite apparent that Angeli was the most active nocturnian, but there should be more around that can fill the gap. Once I'm done with editing the photos, I also can finally present my dragons (which, for several reasons, are more or less heavy modifications of already existing ones released by TLG). If nothing happens to delay it any further, I hope to get it done by tomorrow or Sunday.
