There will be at least 6 Historicans at Brickworld Chicago this year (June 14th) - Kayne, you could make it there if you wanted.  I know this is a bit of a trip for a lot of our North American members, but it will be a mini-meeting at least, and we will have international member attendance as well!

Sorry I can't make it this year... I have a lot of stuff we could slap on that table!!

This was asked not too long ago, and so here's the answer from ZCerberus:

Switching guilds is not prohibited, but it is somewhat frowned upon. If you have not competed in more than one challenge for any one guild, I would guess the issue would be even less.

In other words, you can switch if you really want to, but those who are highly affiliated with one guild may receive more backlash for switching.

I would love to go to Brickworld, unfortunately that always falls in a week that is blackout time for my work and the vacation schedule.

If I had some means of travel, I would likely attend a Florida or Georgia event. Anything farther is out of my budget for at least a year.

I do have Skype, with the same name as here. For nearly half a year my uncle had to use my account to talk to his daughter in Germany. It is way better than trying to make an international call, but we usually needed advance notice so I would be logged in at a given time.

This one is for the moderators:

Long long ago, I made a topic about my city (Mpya Stedor)
Problem is that I forgot to update it for a while and now it is somewhere in the depths of Historica, between other forgotten but still legendary MOC's.

But with the completing of West-Mpya Stedor and some famous events in the recent past (like the Battle of Mpya Stedor), I am wondering what is the best:
Digging up that old thread or making a whole new one (and transporting the usefull informations from the old one to the new one)?

Also sometimes Lord Max Samu of Everlast, Head of the I.A.M.S., a secret service of KALIPHLIN!

It's great to see so many new builders and so many new free-builds even though challenge VI has ended. Makes me think very positively about the future of this project!

Are you saying that cause you know something, or cause you have hope for something?

I will add there has been a proposal for the next book of Historica by one of the guild leaders... we'll have to see how that develops.
