Hello there!

Ever since I can imagine, I've been a big lego fan and I still love playing with the little plastic bricks.

I'm always amazed of some of the awesome MOCs people make on Classic-Pirates.com and other MOC sites!

Another big hobby of mine is papercraft, and a while ago I thought: "let's combine those two to make my favourite lego minifigs out of paper!" ;o)

I already made several papercraft lego minifigs but the first one was captain redbeard (called kapitein Knoest in Dutch) because that's probably still my favourite minifig of all time! ;o)

Although technically it's not lego of course, but I hope you and the readers of Classic-Pirates.com still like it!

I really enjoy making papercraft models of all kinds of things, and I'm finding the papercraft minifigs a lot of fun to make, so I hope to make many more in the future!

Looks really impressive on the pics, but I can't really see what these should be good for other than catching dust. I had a brief look through the instructions and it seems really tricky to put together correctly.

maybe its just me but it looks like a digitalised picture .. don't see any 'paper' or signs that its made out of paper.

The first pic is a link to the site which has the parts templates and instructions for all the models...he actually has a Ghost, Mtron and Blacktron figures...very very cool stuff!!

The scale fooled me, I thought it was minifig size.

But judging by the pictures in the assembly manual,

only the head itself already has a diameter of 20 cm,

which would make the whole figure about 80 cm tall?
