Results of Round One of the Alleyway Battle:

>Atramor Gibbin vs. Werewolf Thug (Dagger) - Miss

Tarn in a tremendous display of valor charges the trio of werewolves with a mighty shout, his battle Axe echoing the sounds of roaring waves crashing against a rock face. Tarn easily side steps the spear wielding thug bringing the back haft of his Axe crashing down on the villain's skull knocking him out cold. Elgar and William hurriedly fire off arrows at the remaining pair of gang members, Elgar's poisoned shaft striking solidly into the enemy archer's thigh, while William's arrow only glances off the shoulder of the leader of the opposing group. Atramor, chain in hand, lashes out at the werewolf leader, but the bestial assailant is too quick for him and leaps aside, letting Atramor's chain swing harmlessly by. Glorfindel courageously attempts to strike the poisoned archer, but is too slow, as the werewolf has slunk back to lick his wounds from which he loses 1 Health due to the poison.

Two enemies remain. The battle continues.

Although polite and thoughtful outside of combat, in battle Tarn exults in his Barbarian power, knowing he can deal the enemy a mighty blow. After felling the first thug he screams in victory and charges at Thug (Dagger) from the front row with Kyrferath swinging in a wide arc.

The skirmish wears on, but the battle has definately shifted against the Party. Tarn rushes the dagger wielding werewolf who has now drawn his sword. The thug parries Tarn's battle axe and quickly slashes his dagger across the barbarains arm creating a ragged gash of fabric and flesh. Elgar carefully takes aim at Tarn's opponent but due to the confined space, is only to fire off a glancing shot momentarily distracting the villian. William again readies another shot at the gang leader, but is cut short as the werewolf flings his dagger expertly at the ranger, nailing him in the shoulder. Atramor switches his target, this time attacking the poisoned archer, however the bowman with feral quickness launches a volley of arrows at the Party dealing damage to each member except for Sir Glorfindel who deflects the shot with his shield. The knight then advances on the werewolf leader with sword raised, but his swing cleaves only thin air as his opponent darts out of the way recovering his dagger, which William has painfully pulled from his shoulder. The werewolf archer heaves heavily as he loses more health from Elgar's poisoned arrow

Tarn gasped as the thug's dagger pierced his flesh. Steely-eyed, he shouted to the thug "Well done, but now it's my turn again!", attacking Werewolf Thug (Dagger) from the front row.

William quickly steps back to refresh his health with a potion. Meanwhile Tarn works himself into a Battle Frenzy, tearing through the remaining attackers who decide to beat a hasty retreat. The alley is now free of the werewolf thugs and the group is left alone with the relieved couple.

All party member gain 1 level of experience. The enemies drop 40 Gold and one Remedy.

The dark haired gentleman addresses them.

"Thank you, thank you, my good sirs. You have no idea the blessing you have been to my fiancé and I, we thought we heard the cry of a small child down this alley before we were ambushed by those thugs who tried to rob us. The Blood Paw gang's activities are becoming more and more bold and the terror of the whole thing is the Town Watch is doing nothing about it. But I digress, please take the this writ of service for the local blacksmith, I am a spice merchant and have no need for such a thing, I don't even own a sword. Thank you once again for your help."

With that, the gentleman hands the party a Writ of Blacksmith Service and departs with his fiancé.
