The Lego Car Blog posted a Lego Technic 9393 Tractor Preview.  It's a medium-sized set.

looks quite a lot like 8049
It has lime green panels though, which is kind of cool.
I wonder what the attachment will be, it is a bit hard to see what it is in that one photo.

The Logging truck 9397 is still not available in the Netherlands. Not in the bigger toy shop nor at the Lego Shop site. What is going on ?

Did anyone already build the 9395 b-model?

(i actually mean, did anyone dared to build it? I think it's really ugly, and doesnt have any exciting functions...)

And can someone tell me if 9397 is worth its money.

Right now im waiting for the release of the helicopter, i will definitely buy it...

Haven't tried the b model yet. It's on my list of things to do.

9397 is worth the money just in parts if you don't like the model. There are tons of gears and specialty parts in the kit. I personally am making my own version of it. One as a tow truck, the other as a red regular truck. Can't wait til next month when I get to build the real set.

I'm not really into flying sets, but that helicopter looks too good to pass up.

All 2012 models we know off are available now.

Logging truck and other Q1 releases in regular shops. The newest models (e.g. Q2 release?) in the Lego Shops as of now.
Well at least in the Oberhausen shop!

Yes, I built the B-model and because I didn't like it, I rebuilt it in rather nice looking truck using only parts from 9395 and power functions 8293 - so now the winch and lift are motorized. Chek it out here in my blog (sorry, don't have a MOC page yet). http://laurisklavins.blogspot.com/

I took some time and made photo instructions as well as comments on the official manual, so those interested might re-create this truck.

Here's some pics.
