M<0><0<DSWIM Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 This is My Moodland-Scale entry for A.C. Pin's SW community build! Having watched all the Original Trilogy (and the Prequals)in theatres and growing up with the old movies, I HAD to build something for this! I actually found that I made the garbage more complex than in the movie, but I just couldn't dumb-down the details. I actually built the ground/water so I could fit my figs in it without cutting off their lower legs. Thanks to A.C. Pin for putting this awesome idea together and I can't wait for the Empire Strikes Back! Quote
Ceroknight Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Where is Leia and Chewy? This is very well done and I really like the stormtrooper suit you made Quote

This is actually the first half of a 2-part set. I plan on building the other half with Leia and Chewie, I just wanted to post this part before the deadline. Quote
wokajablocka Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Another nice moodland scale build . I will look nice to see the second part added to the build, cant wait. Quote
Mr Man Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Another excellent Moodland-Scale success M<0><0<DSWIM. I love their stormtrooper bodys and the leval of detail in the pipes etc. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Excellent work, Mood. The figures are great, as always, and you've done well with the controlled chaos of the garbage. Looking forward to the other half! Quote

Looking forward to the other half! Thanks, Doc! The garbage actually took me more time and effort to build than the figs. Quote

Mr Man Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Huh! I'm pretty surprised more members haven't commented on this... I think it's because it got powered down to near the bottom of the page due to the reviewers academy reviews . I still love it though . Quote

Legostein Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Hello! One of the first Star Wars miniland vignettes I saw, and this one is really fantastic! It's a scene you will instantly remember looking at your representation of it. The miniland-scaled stoirmtrooper figure is a great invention as well! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Excellent 'Mood', what a miniland scale creation....you caught the style of Luke and Han in stormtrooper gear perfectly ! May the Eurobrick be with you ! (foot note - crap I forgot the build....I'm going to be busy today - keep watching everyone ! ) Quote

As with all my SW mocs, I use a TON of reference pics which I did for the Stormtrooper armor design as well as this whole half of the scene. Excellent 'Mood', what a miniland scale creation....you caught the style of Luke and Han in stormtrooper gear perfectly ! May the Eurobrick be with you ! Masked Builder Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Great stuff Mood! Your scale is great, and while the trash/garbage is simple, it's very effective! Quote
