Boomingham staggers back into the hall, disappointed that he and Nur will have to wait.  As he walks by he messily scribbles his name off the Quest Board.  He needed further time to recover from his time travelling adventures.

Johon bows and then stands again.

I am new to all this but I'm looking forward to making a character for heroica.

   My question is:

     -How do we make a character, Do we need to post a picture of the minifig?

Also, I notice that the flesh on all characters is the yellow.I have mostly licensed sets, so most of mine are the flesh tone.

OCC: You need to read the first post in R&D and take it from there.  
Durkon notices a elf peek into the Hall.  He scowls at the fact that a elf is there.

Amorith looked around for familiar faces, he saw Boomingham but he seemed to be drunk. He couldn't see Nerwen anywhere nor any of his other friends.

He sat down at a table and ordered a water, staring in fascination at the commotion between a chicken, a Phoenix and some sort of bird of prey. He sat back to watch the proceedings.

Elgar looked round the bar, he saw a drunk paladin,surley his angel must disagrre with that, and a mage sitty dowm at a table quietly, Elgar walked over and introduced himself.

Alexis sits up after petting the cat and looks around to see who is in the hall.  She sees that Boomingham is sitting drunk next to Nur, and Atramor.  As she's looking around, Mandy goes over to the chicken she saw.  

[My name is Mandy, my friend.  What is yours?]

McCafferey's head snaps sideways to the phoenix. These falcons and hawks believed they alone owned the skies - but this legendary avians could decimate even dragons given enough strength. Her voice sounds in a cool tone in Mandy's head.

"Greetings, young one. My companion-" her beady eyes shot at Atramor for a moment. "-knows and introduces me as McCafferey. But as you are clearly a creature of promise, I shall do so myself as Khalmchalaz."

Mandy looks over the bird as she speaks her name.  Being of the younger generation, Mandy is not quite sure what it means, it does sound like some evil to her.

The chicken sniffs indignantly, brushing one wing across her beak.

"My order, one whose existence you shall see no true proof of, was designed to properly lead those most out of line back onto the railroad of fate. That is why I am with this human, not of my personal accord. Given a choice, I would gladly part ways with him...there are others in the land far more needing of my guidance than this foolish pirate. There is one in particular who has walked this hall before, so hopelessly dependent on one of these deities that no less than 3 of us have been driven to madness trying to guide her, even indirectly. I'm beginning to think this imbecile's mind is latched as well - to ignorace.

Ah, but you are listening only to a old demon's rambles. How has your current incarnation fared thus far, phoenix?"

Tesni returned to the hall, weary and tired by her quest. She sat at a table not far from the dozing Boomingham and gestured for a jar of ale. She sat drinking it and looking at Zoot's Plaything, wondering who else had encountered such a thing. Jess's condition worried her, but Haldor was a cleric and would have it in hand...

Johon sat down next to Tensi, they had met before, but then he wasn't very experienced.
"How do you do?"

"I am weary from questing. It seems an age since I slept indoors" She drained her drink in one gulp, it was good to get some ale over the small beer and murky water while on quest. "Now, I must take my leave. I have need of a good bath and a long sleep." She stood and after goodbyes, left the hall.

I plop down in a seat, weary of battle. I thumb one of the cookies in my hand, and decide to eat them, gaining two health.

[Zepher]

Boomingham is passed out on a table.  As a stream of heroes return to the hall, he groggily awakes.  At his table is Tesni and Alf, the former his friend, the latter someone who he had passed out on.  Upon returning to the hall Alf had introduced himself, and Boomingham had fainted into his arms.  Boomingham assumed that the man had dragged him to the table.  Before he can think hard enough to form words, Tesni gets up and leaves, clearly tired from battles he would learn of time permitting.  Boomingham quietly goes back to sleep.

Barty sit on the table watching the three chatting birds.  "Evil evil evil," he mutters to himself in disgust, and then looks at Boomingham with utter contempt.  "Useless useless useless.  And the chicken thinks she has a hard time looking after her charge!"

[Scubacarrot]

The same man that had stormed in the hall earlier, runs in the hall, and reads from a scroll:
"It has come to our attention that the delay of picking the heroes for our quest was unwarranted, repercussions will surely follow!"

He clears his throat, trying to radiate authority, but failing, he continues:
"The chosen heroes are as following:"

• Rufindel Galadhras (Rufus)
• Atramor Gibbin (CallMePieOrDie)
• Cronk (CorneliusMurdock)
• Nyx (Pandora) *Party Leader*
  

"Please finish any last minute shopping, and check in at the specified location within 24 hours."
With that said, the man runs out of the hall, not looking back.

Quest thread will be up in the morning.

Atramor's grin follow his name being called by the foolish-looking guard. This was a good team to be on. He smoothed out his burned, ragged hat as much as he good, swiped a shaken McCafferey from the table amongst the other avians, and stuffed her back upon the crumpled headwear.

"I bet Dek'ra won't mind we keep 'is cloak a bit longer. Not much point to it, seeing as 'e's off on his own quest at the moment."

Johon sighs, then sits at the table as he sees the 4 heroes chosen. Would he be one?
"Rufindel Galadhras"
'Ok still 3 more spots..." Johon thought.
"Atramor Gibbin"
'Ok, 2 more spots...'
"Cronk"
'Please...'
"And Nyx."
Johon slumps into his chair and looks at the ground (or the floor since he's on the second floor) and groans. He then gets up and walks over to Atramor and shakes his hand farewell. He them walks back to his table and eats some bread...
