" I'm here to help in any way I can" Trotter said to his new ally, "but first, I need a drink!"

The doors to Heroica Hall once again open, this time to reveal a rather unusual traveller. The heroes inside (the ones that aren't passed out from too many drinks, that is) turned and stared at the figure.

"Hello heroes, and heroes-who-have-passed-out-from-too-many-drinks! Bob is here! Bob-The-Former-House-Elf-Now-Free-Mage-Elf-Who-Has-Too-Many-Hyphens-In-His-Name has come to join the heroes in their adventures, but heroes can call me Bob!" Having said all this in one breath, Bob promptly passed out from lack of oxygen.

Tesni overheard the conversation, scooping the last of the food from her plate she turned to the Ranger

"Crusaders? These are a group I do not know. Do they have colours or pictures for themselves?"

IC: Ruitath proudly stepped away from the board. "This sure will be interesting..." he murmured. Having been satisfied (and hearing all the commotion upstairs),  he thought he'd go see what everyone was talking about. Slowly making his way up one of the large staircases, admiring great weapons mounted on the wall. He began to wonder what great Heroes of that time were like. He soon came to interesting place upon the wall. One of the trophies had two shiny daggers with folded up black cloth.

"Do not disturb the antiques!" said the orc woman who caught Ruitath trying to pick up one of the Daggers. The sudden command made him jump out of his skin. He replied saying, "Yes, ma'm. Of course, ma'm."

The woman strolled along side him and after starring at him, angrily, she read an elvish reading. "It says, "Othro, the Cunning. These are the weapons of of a great hero. His full name was Othro Ilinne, the finest assassin and master lock picker that Heroica has ever seen. Many said that he could become invisible and vanish in thin air. Nobody is quite sure where the man came from, although he served a great deal in the Orcish war. These antiques weapons were returned after a search party was sent to find them."

"Who's 'them'?" Ruitath questioned.

She continued saying, "During the end of the War, when things started to get very messy, he and his close group of adventurers, they, went looking for a mighty relic that could end the war. He was last seen in the mountains Chadirra.  Many believe he was ambushed, and killed by powerful beings. Others think he's still alive. Many think, that like all veterans, they can never die..."

"Wow!..." Ruitath thought to himself. Standing in awe, she quickly interrupted reminding sharply him, "Do not disturb the antiques, young adventurer."

Ruitath thought to himself, "One day, I'll be the greatest adventurer, and they'll honor me here in the hall, forever and ever."

The woman became then distracted as other travelers entered the hall and a couple requested more drinks at the bar. Ruitath then continued his way upstairs...

Atramor glances at a Rogue, similar to himself, nearly getting away with one of the Dwarven-made daggers on the wall.

"Some knives, huh? Swear, if I wasn't about to start working here..." his gaze slipped to the golden plaques again. "Then again, seeing as we're both 'Heros', I s'pose they don't take to that well. Sure there'y'll be some good oppotunities out in the wild, though. I'm Atramor. This is McCafferey. You?"

Wow.  Cronk never see anyone that not a mage carry a book around.  Ranger Docken must be very smart.  Cronk proud to have smart friend.

Crusaders don't like Cronk either.  They think everyone not like them is evil.  Cronk not like them but Cronk not evil.  Cronk good.  Cronk find actual evil and bash it.

Actually, I borrowed this book from the Heroica library to show Tesni what a Crusader looked like.

Luc Sees Cronk and thinks he is good. Then he orders some more milk and goes to sit next to Bartholomew Docken and asks,
"Why are there so many rogues here?"
"I don't Know."
"I own a house around here. Does Cronk want to stay there? But I need to be careful, I may not be a rookie, But I am young. My family Treasure is there."

Luc heads over to Cronk and asks, "Would you like to stay with me, Cronk? Docken is your friend, and he is a fellow Forestman. I honour my kinsmen and their allies well. Do you accept?"

After spending the afternoon sleeping, Eric decided to head back to the Heroica Hall again. His stomach was rumbling, he was so terribly hungry and thirsty. The food and ale he had yesterday was rather good and so was some of the company there. As the first Quest wouldn't start untill Friday, Eric decided to leave his armour at his room in the inn. He hurriedly put on his tunic and fastened his leather vambraces. Doubtingly, he looked at Godricsleif, his sword that was lying on the bed. He sat down next to it and unsheated the finely crafted weapon. Along the middle line of the blade it was decorated with beautifully carved runes. The runes, ancient symbols first used by the Dwarves and later taught to Man, read something in Norse. Eric let his hand slide alongside his trusty blade and whispered: "Fader. Broder. Barn." Eric rested his head on his sword, reminiscing about painful memories from the past. "Godric..." he muttered, a tear nearly welling up in his eye-corner. He then quickly pulled himself back together and put the sword back in its sheath with great difficulty, as if the sword didn't want to be put back.

Eric stood up and left the room. He went downstairs and strode to the Hall, confident and arrogant as ever, ready to see some new faces.

"I hear talk of Crusaders, huh? I once leveled a whole Army of them! Or was it the Black Falcons? But don't get me started on that..."

"Cronk can stay in the library with me! Since there apparently is one."

Sven awoke with his face stuck to the table with a mixture of alcohol and his own drool, clearly he had drank far too much the previous evening, all he remembered was announcing “cheers” and then downing his first flagon. He had best be careful least he become like his father (and indeed many of his ancestors and their ill-gotten ilk).

Staggering upright and trying to retain as much composure as possible, Sven quickly exited the bar and decided to find the nearest cheapest tavern, where he would beg the owner to allow him to sleep in the stable for free.

Sometimes he felt like a complete failure.

He would make amends.

There is a difference between a forestman and a Forestman. A forestman lives in the forest, but a Forestman is a highly skilled archer who dresses in green. And unlike you, Forestmen do not have white dots in the middles of their eyes.

Since I spoke of it.

The library is primarily used by the bishop, who keeps all his precious Latin books there.

I'm making this up as I go along, so don't expect it to be historically accurate.

Apologies.  Cronk did not mean to imply that Mage Althior not smart.  Cronk think Mage Althior must be smart, too.  Mage Althior is a mage after all.  Cronk lucky to have smart friends.  Cronk was only surprised that one not skilled in magic was still so learned.

A Crusader comes into the Hall and starts screaming
"Kill all the Orcs!!!" With that he threw a Shuriken at Cronk. Luc jumped up caught the shuriken then fired off 3 Arrows.
They landed around the Crusader,
"Take you anti-orc views out of here. An Orc saved me from one of you lot when I was 3 Years Old.You had burned my Kinsmens Treetop Village, then killed everyone  in there.  So unless you wish to feel my wrath, exit Heroica Hall now."

Bob shakily stood back up again. For a moment, he wondered what kind of heroes would leave a Mage-Elf passed out on the floor from lack of oxygen. Deciding to ponder on it more later on, he wandered over to a board with current quests on it

"Beasts destroying food? Bob does not like that. Maybe Bob could go-wait, no mages? Mages wouldn't cause the crops to burst into flames! Well, maybe the drunk ones around here might.."

Passing over the second quest, Bob looked down at the third quest.

Now this looks interesting. Bob will sign up for this one! Bob likes saving people!

Jotting his name down, Bob then wandered off to the nearest inn, not noticing (or ignoring) the quizzical looks in his direction.

Get out, you stupid Werewolf!

He noticed "McCafferey" to be a large rooster perched on the bottle he was carrying. It quizzically crawled up his right arm, around his neck and found a nice spot to lay down on Atramor's big hat. Not seeing anything like it before, he asked, "Do you always carry around a Rooster?"

Bartholomew stood and went to the bar to get some food, then returned to his table as some wierdo rushed in. He looked like a Crusader, but evidently wasn't, since Crusader's aren't set antagonists, aren't always evil, and don't throw shurikens.

Unarmoured and clad in his black tunic, Eric entered the Hall of the Heroica guild. Towering over most of the other visitors, his vision was not impaired by the multitude of Adventurers running about. He immediatly spotted the trigger-happy youngster again and sighed. He hoped not to be put in a team together with such a brat. Eric once again pushed his way through the crowds, glaring at those he didn't like, which was in fact, most of the other people. He went upstairs and ordered a meal and some beers again. He put off his greatsword that was slung around him and put it on the chair next to him.

"Vad har vi kommit oss i?*" he muttered under his breath, seemingly adressing his beloved blade. As he scanned the Hall, his cold, blue eyes taking in all peculiarities, Scheherazade brought his meal. "Dig in" she bluntly said and left again. The bar sure was busy.

Eric grinned and shook his head as he saw the Orc clapping at the red-haired Ranger's actions. The Orc's stupidity and gullibility were amusing, almost charming. Maybe Eric would talk to the greenskin later on in the evening.
