Sometimes we have a LEGO set that don't likes us anymore, so we decide to use the same bricks to create something that pleases us more.
That's today's contest: use the bricks of a small LEGO set and built something amazing (or try to do that, at least... ).

For this contest I chose a little promotional set, the 7270, that seems to me perfect for this challenge: it is small, its bricks are not too easy to use, and it is ugly enough to encourage us to create something else!

Attached File  7270-1.jpg   29.65K   17 downloads

Rules:
- Post your entry in this topic.
- You creation can be of anything - your imagination is the limit.
- Use (somehow) all bricks in the original set to make your creation.
- Give a title or a name to describe you creation.
- Insert a picture of your creation. Extra picture can be inserted as text link. Avoid gargantuan images, the set is very small!
- Insert a link to the lxf file too.
- If a creation is very very similar to another, only the first posted will be accepted.
- Only one creation per user.
- Participants should have 10 posts at least, and have to joined to EuroBricks before july 20th.
- The contest will stay opened for 1 week (until sunday july 31st at midnight, Greenwich).

At the end of the contest there will be three top builders:
- One decided by public vote
- One as a raffle
- One picked by staff
(Jury: Calabar, LuxorV, Rufus, Superkalle)

For the winner... the glory, and perhaps a small thing.

Here is a ready lxf file with all the bricks you have to use.

Good luck and have fun!

P.S. Can I have more than one entry picture, or only one picture per entry?

EDIT: Thanks, Calabar. I have added two additional image links.

This is the Flyduck. It's a boat with adjustable wings to allow for flight.

My entry is entitled "Buzzy the Bee". It is meant to be a bee hovering a flower but the flower kind of failed because of the lack of pieces  . I'm happy with the bee though   It uses all the pieces and NO extras.

I changed the design to get better proportions and deadlier weapon.
It will surely break easily in real life, but in LDD it works fine.

@Toa_Of_Justice
Oh, that's a good question.
I think that a single image is adequate, but you can post an extra image if necessary.
Other images can be inserted as text links.

Another important thing: participants have to provide lxf files!

Rules updated.

You can zip the file and than use the attachment function of the forum, or create a brickshelf account to share both the image and the lxf file, or use another file hosting with direct link!

I've also built a dropship :) but hopefully it's different enough from the post above me ^

The shuttle bay, visible on the underside of the ship, has the capacity to hold two shuttles. It currently only contains one (the red slope).

In the not too distant future, one of mankind's more unique robots was designed. The design was named after their inventors nick-name, and her was involved in a small incident at the local public swimming pool.

The LXF file can be found here!

I'm Agnostic and ambivalent about it.

This is a really neat contest, Calabar! It was quite difficult to come up with a model that I thought looked good and used all the parts.

Here it is, inspired by the video game series "F-Zero":

Hypersonic Hornet

Posted Image

A high-speed hovering race craft. Streamlined and with big engines for maximum speed!

Posted Image

This is the view you'd generally see if it were in an F-zero game.

And finally, the LXF

Hope you all like it!

Edited with the creation name, I'd forgot to include it

This is a cool contest. I am always amazed at what some people can come up with so limited amount and shape of pieces!

So I decided to give it a go and created: Deep Jungle Totem

And the .lxf file

Hope you like it and good luck to everyone!

The LU Scorpion Interceptor, has three modes of travel...
The first is landing and under water mode, the wings act as her landing gear
Posted Image
The second is high speed travel through space, with her wings straight out.
Posted Image
The third is battle mode and if I had more parts you would have seen the scorpions tail, oh well.
Posted Image
I kept the images small because I wasn't sure how to do a link up
There sure are some awesome creations here...
