I'm sure I've seen that a few months ago.
I think it was agreed it was just to promote the gigantic R2-D2 sculptures..
However, after the UCS R2-D2 rumour, this could possibly be it.. :look:

Oops! My mistake. To avoid generating misleading discussion, I've removed the picture from my post.

Isn't that a little big for a LEGO set? :sceptic:

Hence the word "like". Something similar but a bit smaller would be my guess/wish. I'm looking forward to the R2 more than the B-wing

I just was looking ove the leaked pics again, and I noticed a few things:
1. The minifigs look like they are switching back to the old eye style.
2. The ARC has a printed rangefinder!
3. The sandtroopers have new pauldrons. They are duplicates of each other except for the pauldron color.
4. The tree in 9489 is white. Wtf?
5. The pauldron on the ARC is cloth too. :sweet:
EDIT: I meant kama. The kama on the ARC is cloth. We knew the pauldron was cloth, as it uses Palpatine's shoulder capes.

Cavegod wrote it 10 posts above you - the set was in the same list as 10223 Kingdom's Joust, a set nobody had heard about before. The list was right about the Joust, which probably means it's right about the B-Wing and R2 as well.

Besides, it's in the first post

I wonder if the R2-D2 will look anything like the one we were showed when the voting for the Motorised AT-AT was going on a few years ago.

Remember, guys, the pics - all of them - are preliminary. They'll change between now and release, most likely.

Has it been noted that the Geonsan handheld sonic blaster is built using the ray gun from the collectable minifig range ?
Three parts and one cool looking weapon.
