This is the opening scene from my favorite movie of all time.  Joliet Jake gets out and is picked up by his brother Elwood in an old cop car.

All four figures are custom figs made by me.

I am planning a bunch of other scenes from other movies using the custom figs I have made over the years, so more to come....

Nice work on the prison, especially the gate, and the car is suitably oversized (except perhaps for the wheels  ), and I particularly love Jake  .  Any chance of seeing Elwood from the front?

I'd love to see more Blues Brothers MOCs!

Great MOC shmails!

I don't really watch films but I love all the Blues Brothers music and the figures are pretty iconic and look great in minifigure form!

Looking forward to seeing other classic film scenes and more of your work. Time for me to go and download some Blues Brothers tracks from i-tunes!

My Ideal CMF Series: (No figures with open mouths and no specific features preventing multiple use (e.g. name tags)!

(1) Hotel Bellhop (dark red uniform with 2 suitcases), (2) Amazon Explorer (with over the shoulder bag and new toucan mould), (3) Elvis Presley Impersonator (in classic white jump suit with microphone), (4) Frog costume (lime green colour with diver flipper feet), (5) Barbershop Singer (we'd all buy 4 for a quartet), (6) Peruvian (traditional Andean costume with tan coloured panpipes) (7) Zoo Keeper (dark blue dungarees, broom and new non-Friends penguin mould), (8) Little Bo Peep (with shepherd's crook and a lamb), (9) Air Hostess (light blue uniform but hat to allow varied hair colours), (10) Prisoner (traditional orange or grey uniform with arrows, plus ball and chain), (11) Violinist (evening suit - an orchestra army-builder + bald-head piece with white hair), (12) Tourist (new white Panama Hat, brown beard & sunglasses, Hawaiian shirt & camera), (13) Australian ('Steve Irwin' olive/dark green outdoors safari suit with new koala mould), (14) Gardener (green watering can & classic style purple/orange flowers + bald-head piece with brown hair), (15) Teddy Bear costume (light brown colour - generic without any bow tie or clothes, etc), (16) Brass Band (with new instrument like a tuba/trombone to help create an orchestra)

Thanks for the comments!  For those who have not seen the figures here they are:

This is an old picture, they are the first figures I ever made many years ago.

Excellent creation here and fantastic job on the brothers! I especially like the long sleek squad car. Great job! Posted Image

Wow this is awesome   It's a great MOC from a great scene. I also like the music in the background of this scene :classic:
The minifigs are nice as well, the building isn't too special but it's spot on and really captures the moment.
I'm looking forward to more Blues Brothers MOCs! The rawhide scene would be a good choice, but so is the scene at the penguin's house or at the gospel church for example.
Good luck on future MOCs.
