Looks like a lot of fun! I wish I Could of made it, the only strange thing to me was that
only a small amount of people went. More lego for me!

Are you saying the hotel in which we stay is fully booked? It's a rather big complex so I would be surprised (but it's possible of course).
I am, unfortunately :( We'll ring them up today in case that there are any cancellations, but I'd rather not bet on it.
Anyway, we'll join you guys tonight, so if anyone can tell me where to find you I'll be glad!
Are there any dinner plans for after the presentation by the way? Just for the planning :D

Well it looks like you guys are having a kick-megablocks time in Windsor. I can't make it unfortunately, as I have to take all the work I can get.

Aw man, that's a shame, I'd have loved to see you again! Have a good weekend though, hope it works out with your work.

Had a lot of fun at the event, it was great meeting you all. :classic: My mum has uploaded the pictures that she took to her computer so I will upload them onto Eurobricks tomorrow.

I hope I am free for next year!

EDIT: Where do we post pictures of the event?

We also had an amazing time, and had tons of fun.  Sincere thanks to Bonaparte and CopMike for the presentations, contests and so much more.  It was great to meet everyone. :cry_happy:

While everyone's wending their way home, and I too hope everyone gets home safely, here's the 2011 Event Photo to be going on with:

I was really disappointed couldn't make it in the end. I tried right up to the last minute to try and get a work shift change, but work was to busy and wouldn't allow it. It would have been nice to meet everyone and it sounds like you all ha a great time. I'm not gonna miss another event that's for sure. Will definitely be at Steam this year.

Gutted I couldn't meet up with you all. I was in the park on Friday with my 18month old daughter but couldn't stay for the presentations as I needed to get her home to bed and my wife was ill so that ruled me out.

Gutted, glad you all had a good time though

I had a really great time too. Nice too met so many friendly new people and again all the hardcore eventees ;-)
The organization and all was Fine again.

I only had some problems coming back june because we had to get a new aircraft...
First it was just a delay due to the weather in Germany and afterwards the radar system for the weather was not working properly. They wanted to put a new one to the aircraft but that did not work.
And after all the waiting we needed a new plane ...
In the end we started at 5.30pm (UK time) instead of 2.55pm :-S

Did not get that much sleep in the end but does thus really matter after SUCH event??

Cheers Dana

Hey, I have found the event photo topic! :excited:

But still I'm waaay to tired to upload my photos right now. I've already sorted them, but still they have to be resized and uploaded. I'll do that when I'm rested.
Like Aredhel already pointed out we got stuck at Heathrow airport... 2 1/2 hours ... :wall:

The event once again was a blast and my deepest thankfulness go to Bonaparte for taking care of the organization (unwanted and somehow unintended!) - and of course to Copmike for the behind-scenes-negotiating and special extras.
Very well done both of you!

And there is one more little thing:
- thanks for all the "old" eventees for coming - it's always a pleasure meeting you again.
- thanks for all the "new" eventees for coming - hopefully we will see you all again next year in Billund!

- for all those that quoted to come and did not Posted Image : The organizing takes a lot of time and sometimes even money for every single eventee. Bear that in mind the next time. :hmpf_bad:

The event was great fun!

It was fantastic meeting everyone there and I had a brilliant time. For a clue, I am often seen wearing goggles.

Journey home was pants though. The town of Reading sucks. (sorry if you live there, but it does).

Hey all,

I had a great event, thank you all for this.
It was lots of fun being with you guys.

Travel back to the boat was fine, even got a boat earlier.
Infortunatly there was a trafic jam at Antwerp, so it was still late when we arrived home.

Again, thanks to all who made this event possible and the people who attended.
Hope to see you next year.

Cheers,
Pally

Thanks again for organising the event! Great fun, great to meet all of you that I did and unfortunate that I couldn't stay a couple of days longer. Hope you all enjoyed your special tour of Windsor. Damn, that Tesco was hard to find...

Will definately look into coming to Billund next year!
