I know this is not a valid entry. If I had registered earlier, I probably would have used this entry in the contest: The Ackbar Family Pod Racer!

Wow this looks really good!
It really is a pity that this not valid  :sceptic:
I really like how you used the Atlantis sets in it, but one thing that bothers me is that one of your wing clip thingys isn't fully clipped in your pictures

You do realize this section is for entries only, this only puts work on the mods shoulders to move this thread...or lock it.

No worries, it didn't take a minute to move this.

Nice pod racer BTW, shame you weren't able to enter this in the contest.

A very nice MOC Ackbar, it's a shame you couldn't enter the competition. I really like the little greabling you've put on it, and the energy beam down the middle.

Great model. I love the creative design of the energy..beam...thingy between the pods. And it looks like this pod's been sponsored by Atlantis.   Good work.

Nice MOC!

The engines are pretty detailed, which I like. I only wish I had that amount of clear pieces... :sceptic:

Thank you all for the kind comments on my Ackbar podracer! And sorry about me putting the post at the wrong place... I've been following this forum for some time and thought it was time to register. Anyway, a lot more pics of the pod can be found here.

Impressive...

The MOC looks great, and a shame it's not valid for the contest.

And yes, only the fastest engines that would make him say his line.

Hello!

A well-designed pod-racer. :classic: Does using the submarine propellors of the aquatic sets mean that this pod-racer can go underwater as well? It would be a typical feature of MonCalamari vehicles. :classic:

Cheers,

That's a thought! While not as fast underwater, the Mon Calamari could very well cruise under the sea... Might be more Mon Calamari vehicles using Atlantis pieces in the future...  :classic:
