CopMike Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Here´s the fifth in a series of short reviews from the scenes at the Star Wars Miniland in Legoland Billund. The setup is supposed to be the same in all Legland´s around the world, so for more background information read this post and this post! EPII Attack of the Clones – Geonosis This scene gives a fantastic view of the Arena of Geonosis, in which Padmé Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker are to be sacrificed to battle ferocious creatures. Figures such as Poggle the Lesser, Jango Fett and Count Dooku can be seen in the loge. There is also a battle scene of the clash between Count Dooku´s droid army and the Grand Army of the Republic. First an overall pic: and a video: Grand Army of the Republic vehicles: And some people we know catching a ride in the RGS: Count Dooku´s droid army: And the Jedi attack: Kit Fisto Shaak Ti Seasee Tiin Plo Koon The droids checks out the action yet again: At the Petranaki arena a.k.a Arena of Justice: Anakin rides the Reek: Padme is ready: The Acklay wants a piece of her: The Nexus looks hungry: Thanks for looking! XimenaPaulina Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Wow, those LAATs look fat, even for Miniland builds. The only saving grace for me here are the jedi, which are instantly recognizable and nicely-detailed in Miniland scale. Thanks again for sharing this CopMike! Quote
Legoking Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Wow, this is a great addition to LegoLand. I will be visiting Billund this summer and now I am even more excited! I was just wondering how recent this addition is to LegoLand if anyone knows? Thanks Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Thanks for another review, CopMike. The RGS and LAAT/c still look ugly as ever. AT-TE's look okay; SNOT armor is great. Hailfire wheels are sweet. Kit Fisto and Shaak Ti look amazing, but did they glue two 4L bars end-to-end for lightsaber blades? Quote
Ceroknight Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Kit Fisto and Shaak Ti look amazing, but did they glue two 4L bars end-to-end for lightsaber blades? Oh wow they did Anyways, Thanks again CopMike! Were there any Geonosians? The vehicles once again look fantastic Quote
Skafte Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I was just wondering how recent this addition is to LegoLand if anyone knows? It was brand new when they opened in the beginning of April. I was there a week ago, great models! Quote
Mr Man Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I think this is my favorut display of the lot, the vehacles are so well done, if a little blocky and Kit Fisto is incredible. Quote
