lisqr Posted April 22, 2011 My latest tower moc. My original design was done 2 years ago in ldd. It's based on Songjiang square pagoda in Songjiang, Shanghai. But I still don't have the brick to build it. So here's my mini version. with lanterns The end result looks more like a Japanese pagoda, oh well. Thanks for looking. XimenaPaulina Posted April 22, 2011 Wonderful Pagoda MOC lisqr! Very nice use of the trans-orange heads for the lanterns. Excellent job and looking forward for the brickbuilt version of your first pagoda digital model.
Sirens-of-Titan Posted April 22, 2011 Excellent pagoda lisqr! I see you've used the weight lifter's dumbbell piece to make the top spire; a very neat idea. I would have said that could be the inspiration behind the whole model but I see you've been working on the idea for a while, so it's a great transition to micro-scale. The lanterns are also a nice touch! I hope you get the bricks to build the LDD version as it will be a truly impressive size for a MOC!
Captain Bayonet Posted April 28, 2011 I actually like the mini version better! Very nice work. Keep the Brick Alive! ~Bayonet
Hoboman Posted April 28, 2011 I actually like the mini version better! I have to agree. I find the shorter version seems to be a better visual. Not sure why though. I also like the clean lines and color use you included in this MOC. Well Done.

hanzocloud Posted June 10, 2011 This is amazing. I want to create a similar looking pagoda with LDD and buy the pieces from LEGO. I will be using some of your ideas in my design.
