8070 alternate "Custom Chopper" on LEGO Club website

Open up the Building steps page of the LEGO Club website and click on "Test Case" (has a picture of a guitar) and lo and behold: an 8070 alternate with instructions!

Presumably they'll put the picture and description up soon, but in the meantime it's hiding away there.

Wow, that makes me wonder whether or not someone could build Kaneda's bike as an alt for the 8070.

Nice find!   :classic:   Over on TechnicBRICKS, Conchas provided the direct link to the Lego Club's PDF Building Instructions for this custom chopper bike.  The file is 2.2 MB and 25 pages.

lol. I don't think the 8070 is worth tearing apart to build that. :sceptic:

If you change the seat configuration, it looks more like a Vespa than a chopper...

I was starting to think that I was the only one who thought of Akira when I first saw that pic on TechnicBricks. Everyone else was talking about scooters. :)
