mutley777 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Since we first saw the pictures of this mini set I knew I was going to love it! Now I have it in my hands, I think this is one of the best mini sets we have had so far! I don't include the Brickmaster sets in that statement as they get much higher part counts. The bag looks great showing of the set very well! The parts are good for a mini, with the part count coming in at 45 and 3 of that being extras. The instuctions showing the underside. The main Hull/body of the droid. The Wings/legs. The fantastic completed set! It does not quite look right in walking mode but for only 42 parts I think we can forgive that. The 3 parts left. The full set. As I said at the start of the review this is a amazing set for a mini. The look of the vulture droid has been recreated near perfectly. 42 Lego parts have never looked so good in my opinion! Quote
legolegolegolego Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Cool. where did you get it? That is my question too. - Michael Quote
prateek Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Great review. I think this is the best Mini of the year, but that's not saying much Quote
BrickArtist Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 IMO TLGs finest mini. It's so innovative and clever. Mutley bought Via BL. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I think this is the best Mini of the year, IMO TLGs finest mini. It's so innovative and clever. I agree, I'm not much of a mini-fan, but I really like this one. I think it's pretty cleverly designed for a mini, especially with the flight and walking modes. Thanks for sharing this review mutley! Brickdoctor Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Nice review. I think the set is actually fairly simple; it uses the same techniques as the System one from 7660; but it works beautifully even at a smaller scale. Definitely one of the better MINIs of the last few years. Quote
