With just how reminiscent the Series 4 Soccer (Football, I know, but that's what LEGO calls him . . . at least on the US site!) Player torso is to the Argentina jersey, it had to be done!

I also thought I'd build a more recent coach version of him as well considering it was only last year during the World Cup I became aware of him.

Simple, but I'm happy with how close the fig turned out to the inspiration!

"I watched him die all night. It was a long, slow thing and he fought it all the way. He never whimpered and he never quit. He took all the time he had as though he loved life very much. Every second of it...even the pain. Then, he was dead."

I love it! Very well done enigma! Those two customs are instantly recognizable as the Diego Maradona the player and the coach.

Nicely done.

Actually, the unmodified Series 4 Soccer Player reminds me a lot of Gabriel Batistuta.

Fantastic job! They look perfect.

Don't forget the Sumo torso for a third one set during his retirement....

Very nice!    I love the older Maradona. I don't know if he's angry enough though, maybe giving him a chair to throw or a table to hit with his fist will increase the authenticity of the figure!
