Here is a 7-wide sports car that can seat two minifigures:

The doors will be replaced with 1x4 curved modified bricks at some point. I didn't have any of those in red, so I used the old 1x3 doors.

The minifig binoculars are a perfect fit for dual exhaust pipes at this scale:

Looks like the ladies are taking the car for a spin:

Even though this wasn't originally intended, someone pointed that it looks like the Ferrari Pininfarina Rossa concept car.

Drop Dead AWESOME !

'hga09' you have built a beautiful sports car...red makes it go faster !

The detailing works so well on it, though I would have used different colour seats, black would have gone off well too !

Anyway, great work and Brick On !

Very impressive hga09! You have pulled off the "slick, coolness effect" We have finally got some cars of proper scale! (No TLG 1 minifig little small cars) Excellent job hga09, again. :classic:

I love the overall sleekness of this 'baby'! Simply perfect use of those slopes for the curvaceous shape and goes well with the smokin' hot red color scheme. Even if it's slightly larger than minifig-scale, it is certainly an excellent display model. Impressive job hga09!

I think this car is about the right scale with respect to the width of minifigs. A car realy has to be about 7w to be able to accommodate two minifigs side by side.. Once you set the width of the car, the other dimensions follow to keep the car in proportion. I did design a 6-wide car earlier, but it is impossible to seat two minifigs side-by-side in this one as there isn't sufficient shoulder room:

Of course, minifigs don't really have realistic body proportions - they are kind of the anti-Barbie. A lot of TLC town vehicles appear to be proportioned with respect to the height of the minifigs, which is how we end up with some many single seater cars.

Here is the BrickLink catalog page for the wheels.

Nice car! The width of 7 studs is due to the odd minifig proportions, but it seems a good compromise! I like the use of the boat windshield and the use of the binoculars as exhaust pipes!
