durge74 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) Here is the Fabuland Fire Station from my Fabuland collection. I bought this in 1987 and it was the largest Fabuland set that I owned at the time. Luckily, I took excellent care of all my Fabuland sets and now I am able to share them with you. I hope that you enjoy my review! Set Nr: 3682 Released: 1987 Pieces: 149 Figures: 3 The front of the box. The back of the box showing alternative models. The inside flap. The contents in the box The inner plastic tray containing various Fabuland elements and the figures. A selection of brick with the 32 x 32 green base plate. Various Fabuland elements. The rake is not part of this set. The figures, slide and utensils. Front cover of the instruction book. The first page introducing the characters. Random page in the building instructions. The beginning of the inspirational story that all larger Fabuland sets contained. Wall elements with neatly applied stickers and left over stickers that I did not apply. Barty Bulldog and his mates starting the build. Working on the garage. Chief Barty installing the emergency fire slide. Starting the build of the fire engine. The finished fire engine. The completed interior of the fire station. The exterior of the fire station. I really love this set and it brings back found memories of my childhood so this set will always be special for me. I have to give it my biased rating of 10/10 (all Fabuland sets are 10/10 for me). This set has a lot of cool elements like the park bench, lamp post, slide, telephone x 2, mail, wine jug and the awesome fire dogs! Edited May 12, 2011 by Rufus Indexed! Quote

Clone OPatra Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 oops sorry I forgot to resize the images. Don't just say sorry; resize those pics! They look great, but the huge size is making my browser run slowly! Quote
WhiteFang Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 The images are too huge. I got problem downloading the images onto my browser. Kindly resize them or I will have to change those images into links instead. Thanks. Quote
Grrr Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Thanks, Fabuland always makes me nostalgic. I was gutted when the cancelled the line - I was only 5 years old. It's a pity the images aren't consistenly in focus. Quote

WhiteFang Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I have reposted this review with resized pics, thanks for your patience. Thanks durge74. You might also want to re-look at your review again as your captions indicating "the" is rather off and away from your picture. Meanwhile, great nostalgic review! I don't remember seeing anymore Fabuland reviews for years and it feels good to see one again. Quote
