Brilliant review with nice HD pics, thanks!
Will probably get this set. Nice minifig, good play feature for a small set and looks quite nice.

On a side note, does S@H mention the bamboo splitting apart thingy? It's looks like the best feature yet not mentioned on the product page. Oh well.

Thanks for the review. I just got this set today and I must say it's
a really sweet little set. You get a good feel for the theme for a
comparatively small amount of money. A ninja, a skellie, a
unique weapon (I think?) and two small builds. I don't say that
you have to love the theme, just that the set is very well put
together in my opinion.

Good review. I picked this up yesterday and, though I dismantled it for parts already, I really do like the catapult function. Very clever. I was disappointed to see the square-hilt katana, though--when I looked in the individual figure boxes (with see-through plastic), I saw the old-style katana in the new silver color, and I had my hopes on getting one of those. Alas. . . .

Great review! I got this set today and man, i have to say, that play feature is brutal! Woe betide the minifig that stands in front of *that* bamboo grove, that's for sure.

Also, i replaced the skellie's concrete boots for the old skellie legs and it looks much better. A touch taller too i think? Don't know what i'm going to use the discarded boots for yet, but i'm sure they'll come in handy somehow.  :classic:
