The best LEGO ships ever (minifig illusion scale)
The goal is to make a top of the best LEGO sailing ships ever build. We will only focus on "minifig illusion scale" sailing ships (just so we are comparing apples to apples). "Minifig illusion scale" means a ship that's build on existing LEGO hull pieces (or with a brick build hull of similar scale). For example, this is a minifig illusion scale ship, while this is not. Next to the scale requirement the ship should have at least one sail on it.
We'll do this in 2 steps:
Step 1 (nominating): In this thread everyone can make one post (one only!) and include a list of your favorite ships. You can always go back to your post and add additional ships to it. Don't be shy to include your own ships in your nomination list. I would actually encourage you to include your own ships if you think they are a good candidate for getting into this top 20. If a ship is already nominated by someone there's no need to nominate it again (once nominated the ship will be in the voting thread anyway). For inspiration you can have a look at our ship index.
Step 2 (voting): At a later stage we will close this nomination thread and create a big voting thread to build our top 20 of the best "minifig illusion scale" sailing ships. This nomination thread will remain open till 31st of December so everyone should have more than enough time to complete their list of ships he/she would like to nominate.
