I don't know if LDview is acting weird or you're model is wrong, but when I look at 5521 A model, the sticker with the blue line and a small 28 is positioned straight instead of at an angle...

The previous version of those stickers I've made where inclined. Maybe you still have those ones. Try to redownload 821472c.dat and 821472d.dat from the ldraw part tracker.

Philo, are you sure the LDraw part numbers are correct on those 3 new parts? All the Architecture plates are in p0 and those 3 new ones are suddenly p1... Is that correct?

Well, take a look at this page. The 3 new ones are in the Town category, while all the others are in the General category.

Pattern category is not strongly enforced. It is considered useful mainly for parts that have lots of patterns (minifigs, short tiles...)
