I have a tempory motherboard now, but I saw my index file is a bit very old (it's until page 11), so I'll slowly update it, because I have also some (still secret?) Brickset work to do and some other lego and non lego things I wasn't able to do, because I hadn't a computer.

I also use MLCAD, I am going to line up my files, then I would post them.
For notices I download them on LEGO SHOP.
I download very files MLCAD, then I line them up on my computer with their notice.
I have 800 files MLCAD (downloaded a bit everywhere and mine also)
Bye

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but are you going to upload/add files you're found on the internet or do you've made them yourself? If there're not yours, I think it is better to first ask the creator(s) if you may upload/add them in here  :classic:

I regroup all the files which I can find on the net, then I line them up on my computer.
If I puts files in this party this will be those that I would have made myself. :classic:

Okay, C3POwen has not been online for a while, so I think I'll just you the colour file that he gave me and get to work on rendering the models and putting them up here.

Wow, I now have a special: LDraw Builder tag! It's great!

I hope you like it (also thanks to superkalle for the idea)

Oh, and Whitew0lf, if you read this, can you please edit your model posts here in the topic. All your links don't work, so I can't index them. I think you replaced the files in your BrickShelf account?

Finally the index is updated. There now over 250 models. So, it's more than doubled since the previous index update. Keep them coming guys, it's amazing work (also the renders of C3POwen are amazing)

Sorry for the absence, but sometimes life has a habit of getting in the way of things!

Also, the POV-Ray colour file is near complete in the form I posted previously, and only needs minor adjusting, so it should be fine to start using.

Here are a couple more BrickMaster models:

BrickMaster Star Wars [Star Wars, 2010]

LAAT/r Personal Gunship

MPD file

STAS (Single Trooper Airspeeder)

LDR file

I'll start building and adding some more again soon, although perhaps not quite as regularly as in the past.

@ EdmanZA:  The link to your 8053 Mobile Crane SR 3D file is actually a JPG image.  Could you repost the SR 3D file?

Oops

I see Calabar's edited it with the correct link. I also see the image was a few pixels oversize. I've reduced the image a bit to make it correct.

I'm thinking about making all SW UCS models. I know the most ones are already made (and I also know it's an enourmous task), but I think I'll like it  :classic:

The problem with chrome parts in POV-Ray is that they need something to reflect to make them look interesting. I ran of a render of the same model using a dark floor and mid-grey background, and got some more interesting reflections on the chrome engine parts. Also, flat chrome parts do not tend to light well anyway, often looking flat.

It may be something easy to fix in POV-Ray itself (perhaps by altering the reflective qualities of the chrome parts), but may require a lot of tinkering to get it just right.

Incidentally, your model seems to be missing the front cones on the engines.

Whilst browsing Brickset, I've been quite taken by the designs from the 2009-2010 Space Police series, so have started to undertake the task of building these sets. Here's my first one...

5971 Gold Heist [Space Police 3, 2009]

Posted Image

MPD file (not all submodels shown, but included in file)

Not a brilliant render, as I used the default lighting setup with some softening on the shadows, but I may play around with it later.

Errors:
- Missing 61800 Bionicle Wing Small
- Missing 85946pb01 Minifig, Head Modified Frenzy
- Missing stickers / printing

@Choops: Nice work on the UCS R2-D2. I wondered how long it'd be before seeing a virtual version!

@legolijntje: Also wishing you luck with your UCS Star Wars project!

Well, I really don't know how to use LSynth; even with the tutorial I can't use it (but it works; it's just me) and that's slowing everything a bit down  :sceptic:

Also good luck to you with Space Police. If you can complete it, it would be the first complete theme in LDraw
