I use Universe mode, so I don't know which new SW bricks are included in the regular version, but you can easily go to the EB LDD forum and read the thread about unlocking Lego Universe mode to get all the extra bricks. There are many new SW minifig pieces, mainly various trooper helms and accessories, but you also get the Greivous minifig and Boba Fett's helm is now available too.

My point is they've improved the program and gave some love to the SW fans... many of whom might not probably don't read the LDD forum. They even have Admiral Akbar's head... I had to restrain myself from doing an "It's a trap!" comic.

CallMePie is pointing out that this has already been mentioned in the LDD forum.

This isn't new either; the stormtrooper helmet was in LDD 3.

Aren't there any new helms in LDD 4 universal mode? I new about the stormie helm, but if there aren't anymore new ones, then well, depressing. :cry_sad:

Plenty. Couple clones, Boba Fett, and a snowtrooper are what I remember off the top of my head, see the LDD forum for more info.

You could just thank Randal for bringing this to the attention of Star Wars fans.

There are loads:

Mandalorian helmet
CW Clone Trooper helmet
Stormtrooper helmet
Scout Trooper helmet
Snowtrooper helmet
Senate Commando helmet
Complete CW Grievous assembly
Clone/Mando jet pack
Small and large blaster rifles
Ewok head
CW Obi-Wan's hair
Cad Bane's hat and neckpiece
Aayla Secura's lekku
Thi Sen's head
2-1B Medical droid head & torso part
Nute Gunray's hat
Mon Calamari head
AT-AT pilot/TIE pilot helmet
Magna Guard body
Phase 2 Clone Pilot helmet
Hoth & Endor rebel helmets
AT-ST pilot/Death Star trooper helmet
Leia's Endor hair
Bossk's head
Wampa
Ventress' saber hilt
SBD rocket arm (but no regular arm or body)
New Han Solo in Carbonite part
Capes

Unfortunately, some very common parts like the BD head and Vader's helmet are still missing.

There's a good selection of HP and PoP parts as well.

Thank you, ADHO15. I'm an artist and sometimes forget that engineer types need everything spelled out for them so that they can grock significance.

I was so happy when I saw them for the first time. Thanks TLG for listening. But I only wish we could buy these new parts in all the different colours :hmpf_bad: - who wouldn't want a black scout trooper?

Thanks, CB

I was just clarifying. That's what the wink was for.

It's funny 'cause some of these pieces don't exist in the LDraw library, but I guess it's about time TLG started to get ahead when it's their own product.
