However hopeful I am to see a blue coat return I think this speculation isn't well founded. They could use the blue coat governor torso which really to me isn't a blue coat at all. They might come up with some other blue coat torso also. But any way you slice it, it is not a reboot of the traditional blue coat "soldier", "sailor", "officer", and "admiral". True it might be ONE additional option, but I do not see it being any more than that. I am somewhat intrigued by the new red coat officer torso. I may get some of those and make all my current "officers" into grunts. I do want blue coats back more than anyone else, but I think I will stick to buying up the old ones.

They look good. I especially like the one with Blackbeard. The burning fuses look good and so do the ships in the background.
One of themm looks quite similar to HMS Surprise. And I see a burning QAR...will it really be destroyed?

Is it just me or did Jack lose some hair? It seems like. There's way to little hair on the wig in comparision to the first three movies.
And it's way to blonde, the old one was almost black.

I agree, but I think I read somewhere that "several" years have passed since the end of the third film. More than enough time for ol' Jack to change his look. If you look closely, he has a fancy new vest as well.

I must say, I'm really looking forward to this film. It's got a great cast, and the storyline sounds interesting. Hopefully when I go see it it'll put me in the mood to make some PotC MOC's!

Thanks for those, Mister Phes! Isn't Syrena's tail supposed to be a pale-blue colour? I wonder if the mermaids' tails change colour or something according to their mood - I think that would make sense, seeing as Syrena is often sad.
