Parts:
Wide variety of pieces here including two nozzles and strings.

Minifig:
Another boring worker minifig

Build:
The truck starts out on a single piece yellow chassis

The axles are added

The lights and patching clip are next. I like how the lights are doubled up, it makes them more visible.

Calm down there big guy! It's not time yet to start patching up some potholes.

For those of you who haven't seen this, the string is threaded through the headlight brick, and then tied at the end to prevent it from sliding back through. I'm pretty sure like every gas station uses this technique so it is pretty common.

Pothole thingy uses a technic beam for sideways symmetry.

The trailer base

Another interesting technique is used to hold the second string in place. The notches in the technic pin do a fantastic job of locking the string from moving.

Playability:
Bob's murderer comes to visit the pothole patcher driver thinking they are still friends.

But Bob's death is avenged!

Rating:
Based on design, minifigs, playability, price, and parts.
Design: 7/10, Interesting design for both the truck and the trailer, but the strings can get annoying and the whole set is pretty cramped.
Minifigs: 5/10, One basic common minifig, boring.
Playability: 8/10, I've never seen a lego pothole, but I'm sure everyone will be glad this guy is here if one comes up!
Price: 10/10, This is one of the best sets from the under $10 page, no doubt.
Parts: 10/10, Two strings, a hose, six wheels, various colors.
Overall: 40/50, B+ or C-. It is a good small set, but there are better ones out there.
Thanks for reading!!!
