Kim bumping a topic?!
Funny how I haven't posted here, I remembered looking at it.
It really is a great midi! The colours and techniques in it, down to the stand are all very well done!

BTW I just ordered some tan cheeseslopes off BL,I´ll update the Pic when the arrive. Then I`ll be finally done with this one for good.

And if anyone feels like recouloring the lxf-Slave to Jangos colourscheme I´d be happy. I tried several times, but I'm lacking the proper refernce material.

I'm not sure how I missed this when it was first posted.  This is a fantastic Midi scale MOC.  I'm looking forward to the updated pictures.  It looks fantastic the way it is, I can't imagine what needed improvement.

I might just have to download the .lxf file and build it myself.

The main thing I wanted to improve was switching the cheeseslopes on the wings from Bley to Tan, since the towerbridge included loads of them and I already BLed some.
I'm also looking to maybe improve the backside (fallenangel327 posted some nice shots of the backside from the studiomodel in the thread to anio's Slave. I know It'll be hard to incorporate detail at such a small scale, but I'm not really happy with how the back is at the moment anyway, so I might aswell try some things there)
But I'm open to suggestions If anyone has some.

I love how you made such a great ship in such a small scale.
Good work, bravo!

Okay...this took longer than expected, but here's my updated Midi Slave 1.
It's quite different compared to my earlier version, tough I mainly made cosmetic changes and left the core structure untouched.More details on my flickr.
Enough prep-talk. Here we go:

Sandred and green are quite expensive, but fortunatly you won't need that many.

Great job!  good photography, although the cross eye thing didn't really work. Pretty nice overall shape and very close to the real thing :classic:

Very nice model, great work.

The stereoscopic image is an excellent addition to view lego models. Wouldn't mind
to see more stereoscopic images of lego models.
(I'm quite used to the cross eye stereoscopic image views, no problems at all)
