Ok after seeing the new pics of general greivous that starwars.com have posted i realised that my v2 greivous was still alittle big compared with lego figs and that i needed a proper helmet and a black cape for him.

So i went back to the drawing board so to speak and tried to make a more robot looking fig, i also had a go at modifiying a castle helmet to look like the generals, also note that i have given him a pair of eyes that you can just make out in the photos.

Im still not sure if i prefer this one over v2 (pics below) what do you all think???

Wow, great job! Have you used half binoculars for the legs?

This version is looking even better than your previous version!

I've only one suggestion: The hands using the 1x1 tile with clip are looking a bit too bulky, maybe you could change them by using another custom part (e.g. customizing a skelleton arm...)

Nonetheless great work! :D

Hhmmm... a skelleton arm i hadnt thought of that, ill have to see what i can do.

The problem that im having at the moment is that there are very few final pics of him, apart from the one on star wars.com the rest are all prototypes and this new pic is different from the greivous in the clone wars cartoon.

So there might yet be a version 4 :-D , i just hope that lego makes a greivous that is more moveable than the battle droids.

Looks ok, the head looks a little too wide though.. those side parts are sticking out too much I think.
He looks a bit smaller but the top half of his body is a little more bulkier, like his shoulders.
What have you used for the legs? I cannot seem to work out what it is.

I think that both versions are good as you have built them in different ways but I prefer the older one.
Good job though.

Jon.

Jonfett the leg parts are Dark Gray Bars 1 x 3 with Clip and Stud Receptacle (Robot Arm) that were cut and then stuck in a different postion.

Ive tried to make this one smaller and less bulkier so that it fits in with the lego droids, you are also right about the ear thingys but theres not much i can do about them as they are stuck to the band that holds the helmet on. It pushes the ears out more than i would like.

Nice one, but as jon, I prefer the older version ! In fact I think the problem comes from the legs. In the previous one, it looked more flexible.

It's good but I think version 2 was the best. Is it all Lego or did you use some molding plastic or somthing, I don't recognise all the peices *wacko*

Its all lego peices, i had to cut 2 bits to make the legs and then glue them on a different way.

I have used other different bricks in the past for other customs but i prefer to use lego ;)

Ok i hear what you guys are saying, so ive taken the legs from the old one and put them on the new one, ive also put a custom cape on him.
