After seeing the new UCS Imperial Shuttle coming out I wanted to build one for myself. I didn't have the parts to build a UCS or Midi scale one, so I built a Mini. I find building Mini's a lot more fun, I think I have to say that I have more respect for a builder who can create with very little than a builder who can create with a lot.

So here's the shuttle:

Back of the shuttle.

The wings can fold up for landing.

The shuttle disassembled.

Simple, straightforward build. Here we start with the main part of the shuttle.

Add on the bottom and the engines.

The 'T' pieces.

Attach the wings and it's all done.

C&C is welcome.

Mini? That thing is micro! But for its size, you've managed to pack a great deal of detail in. I would love to see what it looks like in white.

Good job!

This is amazing! As Inky said, it would be great to see this in white!

EDIT: I hope you don't mind, but I made it in white on LDD :classic:

I don't mind, I was wondering what it would look like in white, actually. Originally I was planning to make it in white, but I didn't have the 3 white fin pieces.

Not bad. The way you've angled the wings, it looks more like a Theta-class than a Lambda.

Thanks for all the comments, guys. I love building in micro/mini scale, so hopefully I should have some more MOC's up soon.

Nicely done 'Just Imagine'! For just 12+ pieces you were able to create a micro-ship that's pretty realistic in design and still functional with the folding wings. Good job! Posted Image Though it would have better in white, just like in prateek's LDD design.

@ Brickdoctor

Yeah, I sort of meant it to be that way. I have a little Star Wars story going, set in the Clone Wars. This was supposed to be a Bounty Hunter's ship. I'm currently working on a larger size shuttle based on this one that can fit minifigs.
