Does anyone know how to make a stand out of LEGO for the Twilight, so that you are able to display it whilst in flight.

Base plate (32x32 or 48x48) and then build 4 trans pillars with 2x2x1 trans bricks. I'd guess each pillar will need to be 20-30 studs tall. So 80-120 trans bricks.

Seconded! Trans-bricks are the way to go. Just make sure the pillar is sturdy enough, maybe you could make the 2x2x1 pillars 2 studs wide for added stability.

I'd use Technic, if not just for a little peace of mind. Otherwise, you can't beat a little fishing line to suspend it from your ceiling!
