Occupation: Flautist (flute player)
Hair: Brown ponytail
Face: Female smiling on one side, female pursed lips (playing flute) on other
Torso: Tuxedo
Legs: Black
Accessories: Flute, sheet music
At first glance I read this as "flatulist". Big difference!

I definitely agree, more musical instruments would be great to have for minifigures. Concert musicians are one way to get this, but I think a mariachi using the Maraca Man's hat in brick yellow (tan), a tuxedo, and a new acoustic guitar piece would be another nice possibility (not formatting it according to the topic because I believe I or someone else has proposed it already). Likewise, a tuba player could be put in a marching band uniform rather than a tuxedo for greater diversity of figs.

Those are some good ideas, especially the marching band uniform. I was thinking that a tuxedo was getting boring and it needed to be changed up a bit.

Gender: Man
Occupation/print on torso: a Madman with a strait jacket (like my avatar) on a old torso (with no arms)
Type of headgear: tousled hair
Type of facial expression: a mask like Hannibal, or a "not very happy" face
Color on torso/legs: with torso, coloured (maybe orange ?) legs
Accessory: a "Hannibal-like" mask if not print on the head, maybe another torso with printed strait jacket, without belt and with normal arms

I couldnt find a thread but I was thinking of possible CMFs. Greek Mythology. Ninjago has a snake body for the legs of a minifigure. They could easily make a Medusa figure. They would just need to make snake hair. Then they could branch out to other greek gods. They already made Poseidon/Neptune in the next series. So why not Zeus with lightning? Or other heroes like Jason with a golden fleece. We have a Minotaur so why not Theseus and other heroes like Hercules?

How about a Phantom of the Opera.

not sure if the half mask should be part of the hair or printed on the face.

The new series 7 are really great, especially the Aztec Eagle Warrior, I hope they make an Aztec Jaguar Warrior to match soon.
Anyone seen some pictures of series 8 yet?
I hope they continue these minifigure series for a long time, and I still have a lot of ideas that would be great, some examples (a lot of which have without a doubt already been mentioned) :
- History : Medieval monk / Maori Warrior / Conquistador / Aztec Jaguar Warrior / Chinese Warrior (chokonu) / French Foreign Legionair / Retiarius (trident, net) / Indian Medicine Man
- Sports : Fencer / Golf Player / Torero / Athlete with Prostetic Leg / Olympic Torch Runner
- Occupation : Fireman (Full Protective Gear) / Policeman (Riot Gear) / Cameraman / Pizza Delivery Boy / Sandwich Guy / Dowser / Beekeeper / Welder / Dictator / Police Canine Unit / Arctic Explorer
- Entertainment : Elvis / DJ / Fire Eater / Fakir / Snake Charmer / Falconer / Magician Assistant / Belly Dancer / Mariachi (guitar)
- Daily Life : Disabled Person / Mother with Baby / Dandy / Patient (Crutches) / Sjeik / Modern Inca / End of the World Prophet (Plate reading : 'the End is Near') / Jamaican
- Fantasy : Cyclops / Centaur / Medusa / Devil / Grim Reaper / Angel / Giant / Elf Maiden / Drow / Female Vampire (succubus) / Mutant / Wizard
- Space : Alien Leader / Alien Soldier
- Misc : Scare Crow / Terracotta Warrior / Tin Soldier / Old-School Diver / Great Depth Diver / Zorro / Legoman / Stilt Walker / Anatomy Model

Keep up the good work guys (and girls)

not sure if it'll pass the scrutiny but i thought a tribal witch doctor would make an awesome figure. kinda like a revamp'ed native witch doctor from the original pirates theme - have a more oblong wooden mask instead of the funny looking red one from the original.

we haven't yet got an orc. so i would suggest an orc barbarian - decked with a single large metal spiky pauldron and wearing a mean-looking horned bullet helmet, and wielding a double-handed battleaxe or halberd.

Hmmm?

Canadian Mounty (goes nicely with Lumberjack)
Female Alien, something a little more feminine in an interesting color/heabpiece
White Knight/ Paladin (the counterpoint to the evil knight)
Skydiver
Catholic or girls school uniform school girl (we need more children especially female ones)
Classic Female Robot (ala Hel/Maria from Metropolis)
Commercial Deep sea Diver (modern full helmet orange suit type)
Classic American Pioneer (Think Davy Crockett, buckskin jacket, fur or coon cap musket etc)
Government Official (Man in Black type dude. Sunglasses, headset/mic, etc, think Secret Service)
Politician (Blue pinstriped suit. Vote for me signage, completely vacant expression, good hair)
Professional Photographer (photo vest, press pass, camera accessories)
Vampire Hunter (big floppy Cad Bane hat, scarred grim face, semi period clothes, crossbow etc)
Modern Jet Pilot (Flight suit, modern type helmet ala Rebel Pilots, life vest etc)
Modern Movie Monster (hockey mask, overalls, chainsaw)
Modern Slacker girl/college girl (hoodie, bookbag and books, long hair with molded printed stocking cap)
Gypsy Fortune Teller (colorful "gypsy style top and skirt, long hair with bandana)
Marching band member (snappy uniform and hat, trumpet and drum this way you can collect a bunch and build a band)

I know this isn't a very specific request, but I think that it would be really cool if Lego made a pirate in one of the series.  :sweet:

I think we need a LEGO Store employee. Black torso and legs with Yellow Apron and Red Square LEGO logo on chest. Face is iconic LEGO smile face.

what would be great is to have an exclusive series with only the deck of cards minifigures, i.e. king of hearts, queen of hearts, jack of hearts, ace of hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds. that's 16 right there. ace would be represented by a knight and jack a bishop. done!

That would be quite a niche product indeed. I presume the vast majority of even the dedicated Castle fans would rather welcome a series with other heraldic symbols. Also, associating jacks with bishops seems rather random (and skirting religion improbable for Lego to make), I'm not aware of such tradition? Jacks tend to be depicted as soldiers or servants. If anything, I think aces would be more fitting rank for bishops.

Then again, as a minifigure customisation project I think a full deck of four suits of unique minifigures (52 + jokers) would be an awesome idea.
Halti son of Halti, a warrior of the Clan of the Great Elk and a loyal member of the Mitgardia Guild.
Supporting in Cuusoo: trebuchet, big trees, medieval theatre wagon, blacksmith's house...

That sounds cool. Each fig could also come with an actual card. We should put this on CUUSOO!

EDIT: Let's make them flesh-toned, as servants of the queen from Alice In Wonderland!

After getting a couple of the Olympic minifigs then I would love a world cup series. It would include some of qualifying teams. The main reason would be to get each countries team strip. Only thing that would be a problem would be goal keepers kit. At the moment I can't think of any way around it.

arch angels or icarus, it doesn't matter. just as long as we get some minifig in bird wings. need the equivalent arch devils or a figure in batwings that's not batman. we need the wings in black not dark blue.

arch angels would be great because so far we don't have any feather side plumes yet.

i'd be able to drill the holes in the hockey player's helmet where the indents are and stick those feathered plumes in them and put them on my captain america for a nice little custom figure!

I would like something different to come with each minifiure, like a card, or a special accesory. I would like some more historic minifigures, maybe a retiarius with a trident and a net, or a Ancient Chinese soldier with this kind of helmet.
