I just had a look at the model too now, and that is a huge error with the stud on the rear that can't be fitted. Almost 1 mm that the bricks collide from what I can tell.

Two "1x6 Technic Bricks 3894" are not placed correctly because of a collition issue with Shell 41751.

In particular a brick's stud collides with the shell's internal curved surface.

Anyone interested may see "Groups" in the file and building instructions on page 23.

I started this oh maybe 2 years ago but it stalled because too many legacy parts wasn't available. Today's update with LDD includes a 2x2 to 1x4 angled bracket and I was able to get it mostly completed.

ERRORS:

• no stickers at all
  
• green base plate with driveway pattern 4478p01 not in LDD, used regular plate.
  
• string (75cm) not in, cannot make alternate string (30cm) work the way I wanted, no string included in model
  
• black 4859 3x4 wedge plate without stud notch not in LDD, replaced with 48183 with stud notches
  
• 2x minifig torso with pocket pattern 973p26c01 not in LDD, left blank
  
• 2x2 slope with computer pattern 3039p34 not in LDD, left blank
  
• hinge bar 8L with 3 fingers 4319 not in LDD, no substitution
  
• Rocket engines with 1x2 plate on top 4868a not in LDD, used similar engine version b with 2x2 plate.
  
• cannot place 1x3 plates on sides of 1x4 technic brick, it is an illegal connection but will fit if assembled with real parts, shuttle engines left aside.

Fixed here. I just grabbed the 60478 and allowed it to snap a tiny bit to the right. The "bug" is that the 60478 doesn't snap exactly to the center of 61252.

I just had a look at the model too now, and that is a huge error with the stud on the rear that can't be fitted. Almost 1 mm that the bricks collide from what I can tell.

That gaps cause by to disassemble four hinge plate 1x2 (73983) a bit to fit every parts together. The only solution so far.

Hello, again! I'm still here, though I haven't been posting or building much due to a pesky phenomenon called "being busy in real life". However, with the newly released LDD v4.3.8, I'm currently going through the sets I've built and making updates where necessary. I'll update the Brickshelf links and post about it in the LDD Official Sets UPGRADE Report topic, but that may have to wait another week or so.

Will you please update your links for the Friends X-mas and Summer Scene lxf model files? As written, they don't link to anything, but, if you add an "s" to the Friends link (Friends instead of Friend) and remove the "_cb" from the end of the Summer Scene link, the lxf file is referenced.

I was checking the model 4000007/LIT2009 Ole Kirk's House, post #3105, and found two issues:

- there is one 1x4 white flat tile missing [on top and behind the bigger (front) window], shown on step 45 of book 1;

- and, good news, probably due to later patches to LDD, all the 1x1 Technic bricks and their pins that were left aside can be placed correctly removing then the modified red bricks.

With those fixed, the list of material matches 100% the original list. There are 909 pieces. Box says it has 910 and so I would guess that the 910th missing "piece" should be the stickers? Has to be...

But there is a problem. When I compare the parts listed at Brickset with the one provided by Rebrickable, there are some problems.

- Brickset lists all grey parts as Dark Stone Grey and Medium Stone Grey while Rebrickable lists them as Dark Bluish Grey and Light Bluish Grey.

- Brickset lists 14 1x2 flat tiles as Transparent Brown while Rebrickable lists them as Transparent Black.

My question is: are these the same colors (Dark St. Grey = Dark Bluish Grey, Medium St. Grey = Light Bluish Grey, Tr. Brown = Tr. Black)?

Those Star Wars Technic sets are really a piece of art and engineering... and hard to recreate in LDD . Luckily, the Hinge Allign tool now works half of the time .

- Rubber bands (quite a few!) not attached. I placed them next to the model

- Part 6643 not available in LDD

- Part 6644 not available in LDD

- Part 342c01 not available in LDD. replaced with simular flex hose

- Part 78 not available in LDD, replaced with simular hose.

- Part 4868 not available in LDD, replaced with simular part

- At the for legs, the boom containing the corrugated pipe could not be attached to the 1x3 flat technic pieces.

- At the very top, the technic pins with stud could not be attached properly

Bur wait... there's an alternate build as well! Didn't see that coming.

8002 - Destroyer Droid (Alternate build) - Theme: Star Wars (Technic)

Errors:

- Rubber bands not attached

- Technic halfpins not attached (they should be in those those two hole right beneath the main gun)

- Two of the angle connectors that form the demi-circle could not be placed.
