Two LXF files have been updated - 10194 Emerald Night and 10187 Volkswagen Beetle.

You're right, my mistake. I'll report this to the LDD team.

A tiny, tiny note too - the rearview mirror in the cab needs to come up a bit. (but now I'm nitpicking :laugh:)

In any case - really nice work on the beetle. And thanks a million for being so careful that you take notes when you build the model and report what doesn't work. :thumbup:
I've added the 1 x 10 plate that was missing previously, and the 1 x 3 bricks do fit now! Thanks :thumbup:

Thanks for pointing that out! On my computer, it's difficult to rotate large chunks of parts, so I managed to fix the problem by placing an axle holder on the floor and moving one of the train's tan axles (the ones in the middle of the front wheels) into it to get it to be at a neutral tilt.

Notes:
  • The tools that go in the van are outside instead because the 1 x 4 bricks with grooves that they are on do not fit in the 1 x 2 plates with door rails, which are inside the van.
  • There is no string for the yellow and blue gas tanks, as string cannot bend.
  • The gas tanks cannot attach to the hand truck because there is no real connection. In the real model, the gas tanks just rest on the hand truck.
  • The light bley 1 x 1 tile with gauge pattern on the gas tanks is just a blank tile instead as the print does not exist in LDD.
  • The 1 x 1 horizontal clip that is supposed to connect the hand truck to the rest of the tools is placed on the underside of the hole of the 3 x 2 plate, instead of being upside down on the top of the hole because the latter is not a possible connection in LDD.
  • The two white 1 x 2 tiles with mail prints have been replaced with a different print. They have also been left outside of the mailbox.
  • The chairs on the patio are placed off of the baseplate because they just sit loosely on the real model.
  • The turntable on the top of the wind turbine has been flipped upside down because two white axle and pin connectors wouldn't fit on the dark bley side.
  • One gear at the top of the turbine has been omitted completely since it does not exist in LDD, while another has been removed because it would not fit in between two Technic bricks.
  • All electronic items (excluding the Power Functions battery box) are not present in the model. The battery box is placed outside of the baseplate because in the real model, it sits in a shell of bricks, with no actual connections.

I sifted through my offline gallery of instructions, and I decided to make the 11 mini sets that were in it yesterday. It feels good to be taking a short break from larger sets  :laugh:
All the model names are from TLG's customer service page - it's the closest to the official model names that we'll get, since the polybags these sets come in are all blank.

Randal already made this model, but I decided to make it myself using the polybag's front as a guide for how the three black droid arms are placed, since the 'box art' is usually more accurate than the instructions.

Note:
  • The front torso print on the minifig is different than the one in the set, and there is no back print and leg/hip print.

Oh, and Randal, I noticed that you used light lime (TLG calls it 'light yellowish green') for all of your Atlantis models instead of regular lime. The easiest way to get lime is to download Superkalle's LDD color chart LXF file (in this thread) - the greenish colored 1 x 1 brick all the way to the right of the line of plates is lime. :wink:

Also, I've got a new set to post! Many thanks to KimT for the scans of the instructions, the box art (which I used to help make the preview image), and the images of the models (which helped me distinguish the colors of the parts).  :sweet:

Notes:
  • The light bley 2 x 2 turntable top on 4-LOM has been replaced with a 2 x 2 round plate because you cannot separate the two parts of the turntable in LDD.
  • The dark bley 1 x 1 brick with studs on two sides on Dengar's torso has been replaced with a 1 x 1 brick with one stud on one side because the side stud would not fit in a 1 x 1 Technic brick's hole.
  • A 1 x 1 round plate was added to the connection between both Dengar's and Boba Fett's backpacks and their backs because the 1 x 1 bricks with studs on sides would not fit in the 1 x 1 Technic brick's hole (located on the back of both CubeDudes).
  • All the bounty hunters' blasters - except Boba Fett's - had to be replaced with alternates because the Star Wars mold blasters do not exist in LDD.

Excellent work ILikePi! As usuall the builder of CubeDues uses illegal techniques (technic brick with hole). I wonder if he at all knows about it? Anyway, the CubeDues are so cool. This is VERY cool - thanks! One question - I couldn't find any way on LDD to generate a parts list. Is there a way to do this?

Most welcome to the LDD forum here on Eurobricks. Unfortunately there is no way to generate a part list within LDD. You can however use LDD Manager. Read more about it here.

I had to take a few liberties for the cockpit front canopy, as the original pieces aren't in LDD. And all of the wedge plates are supposed to be the old style wing with the little nudge on one of the angles.

Some errors I noticed in the index post that I thought should be amended:
  • In the Architecture/Sculptures section, 3723 should be just titled "LEGO Minifigure".
  • In the Atlantis section, 8075 should be just titled "Neptune Carrier".
  • In City/Town/Discovery/Basic, 4032 should be titled "Holiday Jet" (assuming the Brickset database is correct here).
  • In Creator/Designer/Model Team, set #4956 should be titled "House".
  • In Pirates, 6240 should be titled "Kraken Attackin'" (with a "ck")
  • 5984 Lunar Limo and 5983 Undercover Cruiser should be under Space Police rather than just Space.

Don't have time to double-check all the names of Star Wars stuff, but this is still a fair number of changes that can be made. Also, it would be a lot easier to navigate if the models were organized within each theme by set number-- for instance, the set Kraken Attackin' has been built twice, yet there are a huge number of sets separating the two copies of the same set. If the Pirates sets were sorted by set number, that sort of problem wouldn't occur. It would also be easier to avoid building a model that's already been built, since you can just check whether a set by that number appears in that theme in the right spot.

When I construct the index, if the user seems to report data correctly, I simply make a copy-paste of that in the index, and check that only if something seems wrong to me.
So errors can easily happen, and that's way I request collaboration about other EB users that visit this thread.

About sorting sets by number, it is an issue we already deal with (see here).
The division of sets by theme aim is to provide users an "immediate view" of what kind of sets has been made, and a way to easily find a certain kind of set. In fact the organization is not exactly "strict".
I think original theme subdivision is too complex for this index, so I tried to provide a simpler one.

Of course, and I understand how the "broad" theme categories help. I just wish, for example, all the Castle sets would be in order by number, as would the Pirate sets and so forth. For an example, I recently built The White House, just a little while after ADHO15 posted it. If the Architecture/Sculptures sets were ordered numerically, it would be with the rest of the #2---- Architecture sets and I would have seen it on the list before building it.

Really, I can't see the problem.  :look:
You have not to manually search for the set in the index, because the browser will search it for you (usually with CTRL+F, or with automatic search during digitation such as in firefox) in a while.
So, if you, for example, think to built set 6382, you only have to access the index page, press CTRL+F and type 6382: if the set is already indexed, it will be immediately found.  :classic:

Note that usually the index is not updated to to the last post, so you should search both in the index than in the last pages of the topic to be sure a set has not already built! In the index (on the bottom part of the first post of the topic) you can find all infos about the last index update, including the last post checked.

As general information, the front landing gear will not come down when using rotation tool. This is because the front wheel is a rotating element, and thus the rotation function cannot handle that. In other words, there is nothing wrong with the model. To lower the front wheel, temporary remove the wheel, lower gear, and put it back on.

What do you mean? The landing gear works perfectly fine for me. :wacko:
