Error: I couldn't get Evo to hold his Hero Cuffs, so I put them in the clip on his armor.

Error: The foot on the back wouldn't connect to the back of the torso normally. I scaffolded it nearly into place, but the connector pegs had to be left off. (I included them in the file in case anyone wants to try inserting them.)

Error: I couldn't get the tubes to flex onto both sets of pegs (perhaps they're not the right length?). For the sake of appearance, they are connected to the pegs on the turbine joints, but if you open the file you will notice that they are not connected to the back pegs.

Error: I couldn't color the flexible tube transparent on the outside and blue on the inside, so I settled for a plain transparent tube.

No errors (other than the general one below), yay! And on my favorite 2012 hero, too!

On all of the models in this post, the launcher is messed up--please see this. Also, there is no printing on the chest armor or the backs of the Hero Cores.

8110 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U400 - Theme: Technic - LXF file




Errors:
Piece does not fit:

• 2x Black Plate 2 x 3 and 2x Orange Slope 30 1 x 1 x 2/3 in the front part of the cabin left next to the model, due to collision problems with Orange Technic, Panel Fairing # 3 Small Smooth Long, Side A and Side B.
• 1x Black Technic, Link 1 x 6 with Stoppers in the front panhard rod is not connected to the lower Black Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise and Towball to avoid offsetting the front to the side.
• 2x Black Technic, Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise left next to the model because the roof of the cabin can not be tilted far enough to line ut with the A-pillars.
• 2x Blue Technic, Axle Pin with Friction Ridges Lengthwise from the front shock absorbers left next to the model due to difficulties lining everything up in every direction.
• 2x Light Bluish Gray Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular Triple left next to the model, due to a collision bug with the front fenders.
• 2x Light Bluish Gray Pneumatic T Piece New Style (T Bar) left next to the model as there are no hoses to connect them to.
• 1x Light Bluish Gray Technic, Steering CV Joint left next to the model due to difficulties lining up the front suspension.

Piece missing, but replaced:

• 3x Dark Bluish Gray Pneumatic Switch with Pin Holes missing in LDD, replaced with custom built part.
• 1x Light Bluish Gray Pneumatic Pump Small (6L) missing in LDD, replaced with custom built part.
• 2x White Technic, Gear 24 Tooth Clutch missing in LDD, replaced with Technic, Gear 24 Tooth.
• 2x Yellow Pneumatic Cylinder with 2 Inlets and Rounded End Medium (48mm) missing in LDD, replaced with custom built part.
• 1x Yellow Pneumatic Cylinder with 2 Inlets Small (32mm) missing in LDD, replaced with custom built part.

Window 4741 was available in previous versions of LDD. I hate when a previously available piece is removed!

The Skylights don't really bug me. The bottom pane of glass is slightly inset, but that is the only real issue. If I'm not mistaken, I thought I read that 4737 Corner Convex Ribbed 4X4X6 was in prior versions as well? I could be getting this confused with the Window 4741 though, I only started messing around with LDD 4 weeks ago.

My design philosophy is as long as any substitutions are mainly geometrically correct and look close, it's good enough.

You don't get confused: the brick 4737 was another one available in LDD3 and vanished in LDD4.
My Polaris Lab well knows that  
In the LDD4 version (still not inserted here, I have all my sets updated to the last LDD version, but I'm waiting to have decent screenshots ) I had to replace it with a jumble of slope bricks, and the geometry not exactly the same.

Errors:
Missing all prints. 6120 Undercarriage 1X4 (Ski) fails to connect to 4275 Hinge Plate 1X2 1/2 as reported here. The hinges manage to get incredibly close, so for the most part, the model looks fine. No other errors.

I noticed that you used a 3x3 dish instead of a 4x4 dish. Also, the minifig's legs were white instead of black. Here's a corrected LXF file for you.

Yes, as noted in the errors section of the post. The side glass on 4474 Cockpit is slightly too long, causing it to collide with things when placed vertically. To my knowledge, this only affects two official sets, the remaining one is hinged open anyway, so it won't be an issue. So I'd say priority on this bug is rather low.
