Strangely enough I managed to attach the peg by doing like this:
1) Remove the wheel
2) Remove one of the black 3176 COUPLING PLATE
3) Place the technic peg (it will connect to the remaining 3176)
4) Put back the other 3176 COUPLING PLATE  (notice how the technic pge now connects to both plates)
5) Place the wheel
6) Done

I have now clue why it will work when done in this "reversed" order, but it does.

So when is LDD 6 coming out

Theme: Castle > Lion Knights

[Brickset] [Peeron] [BrickLink]
Posted Image

Download (LDD 4.2.5):
Get from HERE 6061_-_Siege_Tower.zip

Known Inaccuracies:
- Hinge Plates 2x4 (3597 and 3315) replaced with a custom solution (92582+60471+3021+3022)
- Clip 4085a replaced with clip 4085b
- Technic pin bush 1/2 with teeth (4265a) has been replaced with Smooth type (32123)
- The technic pin 1/2 is stucked in the "Technic Wedge Belt Wheel" in the opposite verso.
- Saddle with one clip (4491a) replaced with saddle with 2 clips
- The rope is missing.
- I used minifig head with hollow stud (3626b) instead than old type (3626a)

Extra:
In the zippack an alternate version of the tower I built in real bricks for me some time ago.

Comments:
It is one of my favourite sets.

Sorry, not sure I understood that  :look:

Anyway, did you try my method and did you get it to work too? I stumbled on it by accident while looking at your model.

I meant when is the version coming out that fixes those problems.

Tried it, it worked.
Did not update the lxf though.

Well, LDD 5.0 is up next, not 6.0

And when it will be released? Well, if they keep churning out versions like they've done in the past (about once a year), I guess 5.0 should arrive sometime in the fall of 2011. But let's hope for a 4.x version before that, like happened when 3.1 was released  :classic:

6649 - Street sweeper - Town
Updated to LDD 4.1.7
Posted Image
LXF

Errors
The Hinge Car Roof parts 2349 and 4214 are not available in LDD and have been replaced with available parts.
The LDD brush holder 2578 has a different connection from the one it should have although the part number is the same (see peeron), so it has been positioned with a scaffhold.
Printings are different

1490 - Town Bank - Town

LXF

Errors

Not available parts:
- 73476c01 Door 1 x 4 x 5 Left with Clear Glass and 73475c01 Door 1 x 4 x 5 Right with Clear Glass
replaced with 47889 and 73194, but they don't have the white frame and the tiles used as handles cannot be connected.
- The windows 2493a have been replaced with a template which in some way reproduces the sticker pattern.
- The truck's hinge parts 4213 and 4315 have been replaced like in the previous attachment.

Different printings, missing stickers

No I used MdStone Grey, whilst correctly it had to be Oldgrey (number 2 "Grey" in LDD palette according to the LDD Colour Chart Reference).
I have changed it and updated the post; however "Grey" really looks too dark on my screen, much darker than in real sets, but it may probably depend on my graphic card.
Thank you.

um, does anyone know who won the 2010 Technic Challenge?

Off topic but seriously, sometimes I think signatures should be limited to a certain size.  We can't quote images because of real estate issues but signature images take up just as much if not more.  I think it's great that people are passionate about what they like/have done/etc. but at time, it's a little over the top.

Yeah, that was a bit off topic (actually both your questions  )

The Technic Challenge I have not clue about, try posting in the Technic forum.
About large signature I couldn't agree more - there is a topic about it here. What Ie ended up doing is turning the signatures off. But I'm going to turn them on again, so I can have a look again and chase down the worst offenders.

Eheh, he was ironic!
Zblj has a signature with a sparkling big image telling he is the winner of the contest!
So he uses the first question to introduce the point about big images in the signature.

Well, actually I wasn't. I just didn't see that Zblj had won the contest because I didn't have "show signatures" turned on. Now I do - so my appologies to messiah1   I feel like a moron now.

And at the same time a huge congratulations to our Technic Master Zbjl (who also has the most strange user name on EB. Everytime I'm going to write it (like in this post), I just kind of type four random keys, and everytime they come out right -  Zbjl (...now THAT was ironic however  )

Hi, in the first topic of this thread you can find all the rules you have to follow to insert a new set.
Look at the posts of other users (for example the one I've done above your) if you want an example.
Remember that only officially released sets can be posted here, and should be built using instructions.

About image, brickshelf sould allow deeplink, but you can use image hosting services such as imageshack if you should have any difficulties.

Your link don't work because of double "http".
Your gallery is not public still and then inaccessible, anyway.

Only problem with Imageshack is that is doesn't support LXF or Zip-files (I think).
