Very tough choice, but I vote for #11 Christoph's Dentist Office - Great color scheme, great detail, and that angled window!
How fantastic!

I'll give my vote to Sorien Guard's "Dark Seedy Riverside Alley".  I like at lot of the buildings people have contributed -- especially the ones with detailed interiors -- but I think there's something to be said for the "slice of life" you can see in Sorien's MOC. I like the entries that have a bit of that vignette feel.

Actually, I feel like we could shuffle up the assignments and start this one all over again. I think it'd be easy to have a very different take on many of the assignments. I would suggest giving the top vote-getters from this round first pick for the next, though.

And last but not least: thanks to everybody who voted for The Commons. You all get a bowl of stewed parrot, on me.  :pir-sick:

I like most of the builds. Congratulations to all participants for their creativity!

Of course I'll have to vote for the MetroiD's Inn - Entry #33.

A big "Bravo" from me to everyone who participated in the Community Build!  :pir-classic:

My vote goes to Tereglith-59. Pirate Outpost, because I like the shape of the outpost's cabin, and the little details such as the Redcoat skeleton tied to the tree.

Like what Zorro did, I will list my other favorite entries:
  • Pellaeon-55. Commons
  • MetroiD-33. Inn
  • Admiral Ron-17. Blacksmith/Swordsmith
  • MetroiD-5. Town Square
  • Christoph-11. Dentists Office
  • ZCerberus--13. Barristers Office
  • Admiral Croissant--15. Bakery
  • Captain Blackmoor-20. Shipyard Masters Office
  • badboytje88-22. Orphanage
  • Grimmy-30. House
  • the Inventor-32. River Trading Post
  • L-space-23. Poor House (food/cloths/shelter)
  • exotrator-19. Cannon Foundry
And remember; it isn't about winning or losing, it is about having fun and learning from your mistakes.  :pir-wink:

To be perfectly honest, I'd kinda missed the whole voting thing and only realised the MOCs would be pitted against each other after I'd built the 2 entries for the Community Build. So at least for me, the driving force here was the sense of adding to an actual community project - which is also why I couldn't wait to see the picture of all buildings put together side by side.

Speaking of which, I must say - great work everyone and congratulations to exotrator, his MOC definitely deserves to win the award here, lovely work :pir-sweet:
I was also chuffed to bits to see so many people voting for my humble Inn - this is a huge honour to me. Thanks to each and every one of you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)

It's nearly impossible to pick only one winner, because there are so many really good entries.
Congrats to all of you on building such beautifull creations!

My vote goes to the Inventor-32. River Trading Post

There were many excellent entries, but the one that most caught my eye...

Exotrator-19. Cannon Foundry

I love the Spanish tile roof and the general feel of a pirate port town this captures.  It looks as if it would be right at home on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.  I will no doubt be "borrowing" the roof technique whenever I get around to finally creating something worthy of posting on here.

Kudos to all who contributed!

Any chance you can edit that first post to include links for all the threads where they have appeared?  It's kind of hard to judge just from one picture, and I haven't been a member here since this whole shebang started.

Well my my this reminds me too much of mafia games.
On a serious note i think i must do this
Vote: Shipyard Masters office/Captain Blackmoor
Crimes like this tell me that this man is scum. This moc is gorgeous and is well thought out. Yes I was torn between a lot of entries this one pulled through. MetroiD if it's any comfort you were second and then third was cristoph.

Hmm, well... after finally being able to see all the different Community Builds, this is a very hard decision, as so many of them are so great... but, I must put in my vote for 20. Shipyard Master's Office

It's just simply so incredible... wonderful outside architecture, great mini-figs, the details inside are incredible, all the furniture and the extremely original ways of building it.  I, at least, have never seen anything like it.  Then, I've got just two words for you:  MODEL SHIP!  :pir-grin:  That is so cool!  When I figured out what it was I got SUCH a kick out of it!   :pir_laugh2:

Awesome job, Captain Blackmoor, you definitely created a very inspirational piece!    I never would have thought to construct some of that furniture like that, or the idea of a model ship!  :pir-blush:
