Hello everybody!

One of the most recognizable ships from the prequel trilogy is the sleek and streamlined Nubian J-327 Royal Starship from "The Phantom Menace". I'd like to give the following bricked representation of it as Eurobricks exclusive model, meaning it appears nowhere else, just here. The scale is somewhat between normal MINI and medium size, hence I called it a medium model this time. :classic:

The idea for this model came with those big 12x3 wedges, which already demanded to be used for a streamlined design. The ship uses many wedges and slopes, and although it's not studless, it has a smooth look. In fact I think the studs help to incorporate the rounded wedge on top really well. :classic:

I really like this ship for several reasons but one mayor one. Chrome!
How cool isn´t that?!

Your design catches as usual the "real" ship very well. If only all those parts existed in chrome silver.
As usual a perfect mix of SNOT and studs. One of my favorites amoung your creations!!

Still look beautiful in light bluey grey as also it did in movie chrome ! :wink:

I immedietaly think intercepter when I see those front pieces, but now I might think nubian when I see my infiltrater. You nailed it, now if only you could chrome dip all those pieces.

I agree that it would look more accurate in chromed colours, but the parts variety there is extremely limited and prices are high. And as one of my building rules is "no saw, glue or paint" I won't spray it silver myself. :classic:

You captured the shape of the ship very well. It's immediately recognizable without the description. I wonder why TLC hasn't made any Nubians other than the Naboo fighter, they're gorgeous ships.. especially the one in Episode III.

Absolutely, to do it in chrome is a ridiculous thought as most pieces aren't even available in chrome. I was just thinking outloud, and I do love it in bluish grey. :wink:

Another lovely Mini Legostein! :thumbup:

The shape of the fighter is beautiful! I agree, the studs on the top do complement the the smoothness of the fighter. :thumbup:

Great job, and I love the trans-blue engines. :wub:
