yes, the two stairs at the back are looking fine.
What about a little plattform right behind the stairs? Men have to go to the first waggon? :)

Very nice Gcar.  I especially like the tender.  The slope design looks very good.
Interesting window design on the engine; it works well.  You did an equally nice job on the boiler.

I've been looking at Goat Switchers recently, which this reminds me of, although larger.  Overall, an impressive MOC. :thumbup:

Sweet looking steam engine and tender 'gcardtensen' - lots of detail even if it's nearly all black ! :grin:
Nice boiler design - sloped tender - cool too !
