Sorry fellas, the cake was a lie once again. I've been fairly inactive for a while now but my Batman fanhood cannot be denied, so here I present Gotham Bank:
Posted Image

This one has been a while in the making as I've been very fussy and only worked on it for roughly 20-30 minutes on it at at time. I'm a fan of the more Gothic Gotham architecture but wanted the financial district style to be more cold and concrete looking:
Posted Image

It's technically not entirely finished as I've yet to print off the "Gotham National Bank" signs that will go one the dark grey tiled mid banner. also, because of a lack of those awesome windows this is a corner building with this side running down an alleyway, hence the use of those cool stickers and moveable access ladders:
Posted Image

It's quite modular or whatever its called, and the back section is open to see inside:
Posted Image

I'm especially happy with how the "BANK" sign came out, it really needed something to offset the largely boxy nature. If there is criticism that it is still to boxy I'll probably add a couple of gargoyles and roof access to offset that more so:
Posted Image

I'm really happy to have those roof windows as they are pretty much exactly the same kind that you see in the comics and animated series that Batman peeks through:
Posted Image

Batspying!

The floors separate with ease:
Posted Image

The inside when empty:
Posted Image

And now full of Gothamites. You may notice that the walls also remove easily to allow for maximum camera angles:
Posted Image

Another view:
Posted Image

Details include a fishtank, a hat rack, a safe, and several paintings.

Behind the counter here is a slightly more drab colour scheme and access to files and the safe:
Posted Image

I like this shot:
Posted Image

The big safe itself:
Posted Image

Which opens to reveal a portion of the gold reserve:
Posted Image

Alternatively one can also view this via the removable walls:
Posted Image

The upper floor is much more spacious with easily removable roof:
Posted Image

Here the board of directors with Bruce Wayne make decisions, with Bruce often opposing dirty money flow from various mob bosses such as Maroni or Falcone:
Posted Image

Details include ATM machines, work desks, and service behind bullet proof glass.

The other room boasts an impressive collection of old night armour:
Posted Image

And important files:
Posted Image

Another view of the second floor:
Posted Image

And another shot of the completed building:
Posted Image

Two-Face and his cronies Romulus and Remus demand everyone get down on the floor:
Posted Image

Another shot:
Clicky

They hold up the guards:
Posted Image

"Heads I go through with it all, tails I only take half!"
Posted Image

Lucky for Gotham Bank Two-Face only takes half, and heads to his getaway car:
Posted Image

But someone is watching him as the dual coloured car approaches, a caped crusader perhaps?
Posted Image

Batman prepares to save the day!
Posted Image

EDIT: Three story facade version that everyone wanted to see!
Posted Image

Third wall taken from the side.

Posted Image

Overall I'm very happy with it and I think the boxy look will work much better when placed alongside another building such as the Iceberg Lounge. I'll update again when I have the signs finished and placed as well which should add a touch of colour and style to the outside.

Comments and criticism very much appreciated, espeically if you think the roof may need a couple of gargoyles or perhaps an entry door to give it some different shape. Thanks for looking and Wayne Manor is on its way with almost half its construction done!

Nice bank, very batman looking.

Now you just need some nice villain breaking into your bank...

Wow, this puts a whole new spin on the modular build.

I love all the very functional spaces you have. The vault, the file room, the tables, atm, even the line is really minifig size appropriate. I kept waiting to see someone rob it and batman to come save the day.

One word. Amazing! This is just blowing my mind. The only suggestion I can think of is to make it a floor taller and add gargoyles.

Lovely bank Batbrick!

I don't know much about the Batman universe, but I can instantly tell that this is a Gotham building just by the interior and exterior details.
I like the amount of detail you added into this MOC! Cool tiling and stud mixture for the floors - having the tiles on the same height as the plates really makes it look much better than it would have if you just slapped on a couple of tiles on top of the plates. You've also added everything a bank would have - ATMs, a huge safe (well, no one actually knows how large or how many the safes there are ), bulletproof glass teller windows, and more!
Also, it's neat how you made the set so playable! (No back, removable walls, and modularity)

Very Awesome moc Batbrick even if there's no cake.

Fantastic!

Great exterior and interior details. I love the bank lobby, safe, and especially the board room. All the details look great and must've been alot of fun to put design and put together.
Would love to see a sidewalk and the other side of the alley.

Really fantastic work! Now all you need is Two-Face or Joker to make a 'withdrawal'...

Appreciated, always good to have another Batman fan around! I'm glad you love the details, as since I'm not a very good builder in terms of architecture I try to cram as much in as possible as a substitute.

I'll be sure to try out some gargoyle designs soon then.

Hah! you're right, it does need that intro!

Thanks for commenting friend, I would agree with the extra floor but unfortunately I am on a massive brick ration so it is impossible for now.

But you never know in the future...

Darn! I had completely forgotten to show that, I was to have Two-Face robbing it!

Thanks theriddler, I was going to have "Gotham Bank" displayed on the roof but unfortunately it was to be too big and I didn't have enough 1x1 black pieces.

As said, I reckon I will add gargoyles so thanks for the advice, but sadly another floor will be a long way off with my brick rations.

Thanks ILikePi, I love your username. I'm glad you like the playable side, since I went to great and annoying pains to have it so, especially with the removable roof section which took a while to make less fragile.

It did take a while thanks, probably too long since I never worked on it for longer than 40 minutes maximum at a time, I'm quite slow and lazy these days

I reckon a sidewalk will be an addition that won't be long off actually, thanks a heap for that advice!

Yay! Finally another Batmoc from our resident tasmanian bat! And what a beautiful moc it is! It has BTAS and classic Batman all over it! The windows on the roof are very Batman-esque as you said, but they might have been better in trans-black, and I'm not entirely sure if I like the mix of tan and dark blue on the first floor, but otherwise this is perfect. I especially like the meeting room upstairs. Good job!

But how could you forget to make a robbery scene! I was anticipating it while I was reading through the first post, but as I got to the end, I was not only left cakeless, but also robberyless. :cry_sad: You have to make one, quick!

Now, please make a Joker hideout or Freeze Lab! :sweet:

To the Okymobile! *insert spinning Star Command logo*
