Will December 21, 2012 be the doomsday of humanity, and that of our favorite building block?

Hmm... I don't really get it. The prediction Mayan is for January 1st, 2012, not Christmas 2012! By the way, I don't know what country you live in, but generally a MOC about Christmas would have snow on the ground.

I get the whole, door opening and gun firing, but I don't know who the army guy in the basement is. It looks nice, but can you explain this MOC to me?

EDIT: So that's a rip-off minifig... making more sense, but I still don't get it at all. What's it got to do with Christmas in 2012?

Nice custom minifig, by the way. Can I get a front view?

Actually I'm pretty sure it's the 21st here's the "Offical Dooms Day web site", and it's taking place in the deep south of the US who don't usually get that much snow. As for the guy in the basement he's prepared for the apocalypse, which is why he has a shot gun rations and a mlitary helmet.

Okay... but why does he want to shoot a rip-off minifig?

The 2012 apocalypse in the Lego world would be rip-off figs taking over. That would be Doomsday enough for me.

Haha I get where you're coming from with the colour changes and I kinda agree with you. If Lego doesn't step up soon and fix the quality and pricing issues within itself 2012 may indeed be Lego's last year :cry_sad: .

Thanks for the kind words guys!

LEGO made 400 million US dollars last year in net profit, they aren't going anywhere.

However I agree, the pricing is so insane the only sets I buy now are on sale. I couldn't tell you the last set I paid full price for.

Interesting Vig. Clever use of the skull.

Looks like a Best-Lock figure, clone not rip off. Bit of a difference.

Got to say, he is lucky to have survived so long after the end.

Will stop talking like Rorchach now.

To be honest I have no idea what that figure is. My dad got my brother a West Jet building block set that the figure came with.

Anyways glad you like the vig :classic: .
