An Entry for the Jolly Roger Contest, Imperial Impressment;

When the recruits get thin, the Imperials go out and strongly "encourage" sailors to sign up.
Most of the sailors become very "enthusiastic" in signing up, and almost all join without further "encouragement".

I love the chain along the pier you did, and the planning is quite clever, I love it! Keep bricking :pir_laugh2:

I like this piece of work. Just out of curiosity, was this sort of "recruitment" technique actually used by navies of the time?

Nice MOC, Maybe you could make it a little bit more interesting by adding tiles to the top of the roofs and giving this MOC a bit more colour.
But it is just fine now, and I like the chainfence.
Good work and good luck in the contest.

Nice scene on such a small footprint. ImperialScouts sure had a lot less trouble in convincing people to sign up for his 42nd blue coat regiment :pir_laugh2:

Nice MOC, and a very realistic scenery for back then in those days. Especcialy in Britain and France they used to 'recruit' this way. The unemployed and poor women were send of to the colonies, together with their children.
Much luck with the contest!

Very nice creation! Nice clear pictures as well, great job.
Press gang MOCs are always great fun to look at, the poor pressed guys and the cruel press gang. :pir-tongue:
Very nice.

Hello there im new to this forum but anyway, i say this is a awesome MOC but it seems a bit crowded.
In the begging there was only 3 men one liked the color red and, the other two liked the color blue.Then they found some coats and started hitting each other.That's how war was made.
I will only have respect for redcoats when they actually make a "General Redwater's amazing bleach!"

Hi! Welcome to Eurobricks! XD
The "crowded" nature of this moc is intended, Makes the "encouragement" look more encouraging. D
