Ok the title says it all.

I would love for Lego to release an official moonbase module as an exclusive/hard to get. That would just be perfect in its awesomeness.

How much do you want this?

What theme would you like them to do this with?

Hello.

Well, I have a different opinion on that. Moonbase is one of the most popular and successful fan creations which is still going on and expanding. I would not like TLC to "invade" this fan-made project. It's from us as fans for ourselves and for all fans. Look at all the great modules and dioramas out there. We can build everything we like ourseleves. Every module is unique and thus more exclusive than any official module could be. :classic:

Cheers,

~ Christopher

I agree with Legostein. Moonbase, as well as Steampunk, is a natural development of the LEGO world by LEGO fans. Ok, it could be nice if everyone of us could build a few (or some more) modules of the moon base like those by great builders around the community, but having official LEGO sets for that would kill part of the fun, IMHO.

well if they were released as a theme with modular modules( ) then it would be rather swell but if TLG just sold a single set with moonbase connectors it would most likely just appeal to the people who uses moonbase connectors more extensively

I'd have to be on the "not at all interested" side of the ledger here. Why would we want TLC to take over a successful fan-developed theme?

I agree with the previous answer and the link sent by tedbeard is a very good example.
