In the mid 19th century a new leader rose. His name was Emperor Vicious. He lead the nation with an iron fist, so the nation was called the Iron Empire. Capitalists, aristocrats and rich people were privileged members of the nation and the normal man was nothing worth in the eyes of the Emperor. Other countries didn't want to go in discussion with the Iron Empire because they had fear of Emperor Vicious. One man stood up against Emperor Vicious, he was called Goodfellow. Goodfellow travelled with a company of craftsmen and civilians to a group of floating rocks. They were called the Resistance. They tried to fight against the Emperor and his army of rich people, although it lasted long until their hiding place was discovered. The floating rocks were a magical appearance, nobody knew how they got there. Soon these rock formations were inhabited by numerous people, including the Professor. He was once an important inventor of new machines for the army of Emperor Vicious, but he fled. The Professor made steam powered machines for the Resistance. Unfortunately, the Emperor managed to follow him within a few days. And that's how the Resistance was discovered...

This is a lively and interesting scene with a great back story Matn! The Steampunk machines are all lively and nicely executed. I think the balloon is my favourite. I love floating rock MOC's and you have nailed this concept really well. You are coming on as a builder all the time. Keep it up.

The pic looks really good.

Nice entry, Matn

I love the balloon and the walker!

Good luck for the contest

P.S.: could you please reduce the size of the first pic to 800 dpi max? It will help slow connection users like myself. Thank you :sweet:

Hello!

A really wonderful scene with so many nice inventions! The two flying machines are already great, but the grabbling vehicle is fantastic. :classic: A great source of inspiration.

Cheers,

Great stuff. It really makes quite the scene all together. The walker looks like a little 1-man version of Dr. Loveless' spider walker from the Wild Wild West movie.
