Hello everyone !!
This is my first time posting a MOC on Eurobricks, and i'm hoping to post many more of my MOC's and Mods for everyone to see.
Here i present to you a Hogwarts Castle MOC from Harry potter, built by both me and my partner.

We both worked really hard on this one and were really pleased with the results.

Unfortunately we are moving soon, and the size of this thing is enormous. So the pictures taken here are of when we were taking it down. While we were deconstructing it though, we realized how weak and poor the foundation was of the structure. So once we move and settle down we are going to build a much larger and more realistic version of Hogwarts. None the less we are proud how this one turned out. We tried to use as many official sets as we could, to kind of show whats possible with official sets rather then building everything your own from scratch.

here is a full shot of the castle in all its magical glory. All of the official HP sets can plug out for separate play, they are all connected using the same technique as TLG used to connect all the sets together, with the 1X2 slope pieces.

Posted Image

And here is another shot with the "4483" AT-AT to show scale  , he is trying to infiltrate the castle !

Posted Image

the left side with the Main hall and Gryffindor. house.

Posted Image

The " front side " showing Dumbledors Office, the entrance and Boat house.

Posted Image

Two shots of the inside of Hogwarts. its very busy and happening ! The floor in the middle where the sorting hat is can lift up and be removed. Under neath is the chamber of secrets !! we will move on to that in a moment.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Much like the movie, from the bathroom you can slide on down to the chamber of secrets, also in there is Moaning Myrtle !!

Posted Image

Here are some dark shots of the chamber of secrets dark below. it was very hard to photograph it as there wasn't much light. We can see glimpse's of Harry fighting the Basilisk.
Posted Image

Posted Image

also at the back of the castle is the forbidden corridor, which takes you down to the Key room ! and where " he who shall not be named awaits Harry potters arrival "

We took many pictures of all the sets individualy to show our MOD's and for our own reference. I also thank my partner very much for taking all the pictures, shes a great Photographer :classic:

I hope you all enjoy our Hogwarts creation and hope you look forward to our NEW Hogwarts in the future ! Comments and constructive criticism is most welcomed !

None of your images show up, they are all red x's.

The link does work though. i like the giant rock base you added to the Hogwarts licensed set. The guy on the broom at the top of the castle is a nice touch.

The multiple cave areas are awesom too. You've added so much to a cool set, but you've added everything that was missing, great work!!

This looks great.
Cool for the adult collector, but cool for kids aswell. I like how you stayed tru to the design of the playsets and the real thing, it's a good mix, which you rarely see.
It just want me to start buying Harry Potter lego, great job.

Nicely done! I've always wanted to see someone encorporate all HP sets in one big castle.
But you haven't only done this, you've also added some nice piece of scenery. And I really like that your Hogwarts doesn't have canonical look. ) Well done! )
I hope that upcoming sets will add much to your nice creation. ) :classic:

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

Ah it's always nice to see another Harry Potter LEGO fan. I would love to be able to build such a big castle, and I think I could do so with the current pieces I own, but I just don't have the time for such a big project. It looks lovely! I love the use of the official setsin it and how they integrate so lovely with the rocks.

Another Lego HP-fan here!

You've done great with modding the official sets into this huge castle! It looks very intriguing and busy, and at least the exterior is quite cohesive, you've filled the holes in the official sets well. The interior could be more refined and polished, but that's alright.

I myself took the hard route and built my own Hogwarts from scratch about a year ago (you can find it in this forum). Yours is bigger, though. You seem to have a few more sets than I do, as well.

Well done, again!

This is very nice. I love how integrated it looks despite being made up from all the individual sets.

So are you looking forward to the new HP sets or dreading them as they'll have to be incorporated here? ;-)

Cool. You did a really great job MODing all the sets you have and then incorporating them into one castle. I like it. My only question is where's the Quidich pitch?

It looks awesome. You've done a great job combining all the official sets together. It shows that they fit all fit together very well! It looks impressive and big, I also like the rock formations. I'm looking forward to the new version of this Hogwarts interpretation.

And I'm glad there's a new (LEGO) Harry Potter fan here. Welcome! :sweet:

Thank you all so very very much for your comments :classic:

badboytje88 thank you ! It is quite hard taking on such massive Lego projects, this one took at least a couple of months. This is actually our second attempt in building a Hogwarts. The first time we built it the rocks were light Grey and over all a lot smaller. At any rate, its a lot of fun building such a big project, you should try it out

Sandy Thank you ! ill be sure to look around and find it !

Tohst If the confirmation is true, then i am indeed looking VERY forward to the new harry potter sets. I'm just hopeing they stick to the same sort of feel and design as the originals. I was unfortunate to get the clock tower section when it was out, so i need some new sets to fill up that space, thanks again for your comments :classic:

Commodore Hornbricker when we build our third version we will have a Quidich pitch and forbidden Forrest. We have all the Quidich stands and pieces but just didnt have the base plate to build one

Matn May i just say your Harry Potter MOC's are a huge inspiration to me, they are so incredible ! The sheer size and detail are just amazing ! very well done to you

thank you all very much for your comments and the welcoming to the HP lego fan group. Me and my partner are both very happy to see you like our creation.

Thats a VERY NICE hogwart's castle. Using other smaller sets and your creativity really made this set look really good.

Very nice MOC, CELESTRIAL.

It's much better than mine. Yours looks much more like a real castle with that excellent rock base and floor in the middle.

I'm looking forward to seeing the updated version. :classic:

Wow, this is a large castle design with a really functional interior featuring loads of features from most sets, bravo! The exterior looks rugged and uninviting with lots of nice towers. What's going on with the AT-AT in a boat invading?
Great job all round to you and your partner.

Wow, what an amazing MOC! Now that's the kind of castle I'd literally play with all day long!
